Safeway

It's a shame our state has allowed for such devastation on local stores. The theft is causing closures and our state and local government won't step in to remediate the challenges. Loosing businesses is not the answer. What is happening? How do you turn away from basic needs to maintain a functioning community? HELP!😢

I had a good experience Here at Safeway Safeway has so much good stuff a lot of good juices and Breads and soups and cakes and vegetables the store is very clean it's not too crowded at all it's very organized and very clean the employees are very kind and helpful to their customers always concerned if we found everything okay let's just say you want to take Grandma for a nice day of shopping and you want to get her some soup or bread or something whatever she likes Safeway will have it I guarantee it and the store is also very sanitary as soon as I walked in there was a little station cleaning station right there with hand sanitizers to wipe down the baskets and everything also paper towels. This place also has wheelchair accessible parking handicap parking curbside pickup and delivery right at your convenience thank you Safeway on Alpine Avenue I recommend this to every Shopper that is looking for good groceries and good produce I'm looking forward to coming here again with my family and friends for another good day of shopping thank you so so much I will post up photos to for you and I also have given you a 5-star review thank you for your kindness have a good day

Website says deli is open until 9pm. Showed up at 830pm and the lady behind the counter said they were closed. I think they just wanted to go home. Update. Store management responded to my review and said they would share this with the management team there. Went in a couple of weeks ago when they were about to close. They were cleaning up but they were more than happy to assist me. Looks like they took care of that issue. Thank you.

Safeway has been around since I was little and I still remember being really younge my first time visiting the bakery section and eating my first custard filled donut,it was heaven and unlike most kids who had dreams about cars and flying I would dream I was locked inside the bakery all night and I could eat all the sweets I wanted it was almost as good as peter pans lostboys on hook

Minus being asked for "spare change" (not really sure what "spare change" is)by multiple transients going in and out of the store. This is a great store. Always clean and well stocked shelves.

Always love Safeway, clean store, friendly staff. Great selection though keep in mind it is a bit of a premium store but you get what you pay for. Always recommend.

Hey it's grocery shopping how exciting can that be! On the other hand I was excited about the fact that they had my favorite Fairlife milk in stock for the first time in a few weeks that's something to be excited about. To the point this is my favorite store it's been getting a bad rap lately but I find it to be safe and convenient and at this point in my life wouldn't want it any other way.

I don't shop here often. I was picking up produce for my friend and David was extremely helpful and personally walked me over to each product I needed and explained the differences of each. He was very kind and respectful and because of David, I will shop here more often

Shopping is easy because of tge organization in this store. No walking back and forth trying to find things. Their Bananna nut muffins are the bomb. Moist and lots of walnuts on them. Their staff is always vety helpful. Love that store.

The staff works really hard and they seem stressed at times but they are always friendly. I go to Safeway to get last minute things I could have forgotten for dinner or to get a craving because they have all of the specialty everything that other stores just don't carry, even if it is at a premium.

Clean, professional but friendly workers. They even have an Assurance Wireless booth out front of the store. Assurance Wireless are the Obama free phones with free minutes, free texting and unlimited data...for those who don't know😉 (Safeway on Country Club in Stockton)

I happened to stop in this location the other day . I was struggling to look for a specific item . An employee named Cassie I think could tell I was confused and right away asked me if I needed any assistance! She was busy doing what I think was customer pick up service shipping, stopped what she was doing for a minute to help me ! Great customer service !

Excellent grocery store. Large produce section with huge selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Also has a flower center. Meat department is awesome with big selection. Butchers are happy to help.

I was pleased to find items for special diets that you normally don't find easily. I was also pleased to see cashiers opened with few people in line. This was extremely convenient since I was in a hurry. The cashier was very attentive and cordial. When I arrived, there was someone ready to disinfect my shopping cart for me. Very, very, very good service.

Loved Latvia customer service at the bakery. She helped me out and saved the day. Exceptional customer service and very empathetic. I haven't been shopping at Safeway lately because target is closer but considering how She treated me Sunday, I'll be coming by more often. Thanks Safeway for hiring her!
