So Delicious, Fresh Food, You Must try!!! 😋
We arrived around 12:30 pm
My husband ordered the 3 combo platter with pork belly, bbq on stick & chicken adobo and he said they were all good (he finished his entire meal!😂) in addition to a Halo Halo which he loved!
I ordered Pancit Bihon Chicken, 2 orders of Lumpia (1 order = 6 pcs) and 1 bbq on stick, everything I ordered was so delicious & I had plenty of Pancit to take home. There was a birthday for one of the families that came in a song was requested. We will definitely be back!!! We were told that on Saturdays there is Lechon & on Sunday they have breakfast. Do yourself a favor, try it out! 🥰 You’ll be thankful you did!

Go here. Seriously. It's so good. In this picture, I have the pork stew (absolutely amazing, full of flavor, hearty) and another spicy bicol which was a pork with coconut milk and peppers, it has a little kick but it's not crazy hot, this also has some nice fatty meat and good flavor. And a sour soup, which was also really good.

My friend got the squid which has an amazing lemon grass flavor, something that looked like roasted chicken (this was my second favorite, pork stew was my first) and some fried pork belly which had a nice amount of char flavor 🤤

The cashier was so kind! They let us have samples of the food so we were able to get what we liked, and when we said we weren't able to eat rice, they even let me have some sour soup to make up the price difference

10/10 will be back. Also this meal was only $11

We had a great experience here Sunday 09/24/2023. We had our lunch here to cope with our disappointment with the weather 😂. Because of the windy day, the Hot Air Balloon were not put up. So we’re glad this place is near to that event and to fill our sadness with a happy tummy! I forgot to ask ate’s name who helped us with our order. She’s so friendly and accommodating, but also the other people who work there always asked us if we’re feeling good inside the restaurant. Masarap and good portion! Sulit ‘ika nga! If we we’ll be back in Plano, definitely will eat here again!

P.S.
Also kay ate who sang there, keep it up po!😊

Food was great and the price reasonable. I ordered the 3-dish combo and got rice and a good portion of the three dishes. We came way past lunchtime so it was quiet. Good customer service. Leila carried with her a very positive attitude. She was very helpful.

Enjoyable experience. Food was good and authentic. They have a small Filipino shopping store as well. Pricing was very good. Lots of food serving. Many patrons. The live music was a pleasant surprise.

Love this place, food is amazing! Workers are always so nice and helpful. I try to visit at least once a week for some filipino snacks or my favorite, the crispy pork sisig 🤤 oh and can't forget the delicious halo halo especially during these hot summer days!

First time to visit. I had the three entree dinner. I selected the spicy bicol, chicken adobo and the barbecued pork belly. All was very tasty but the pork belly was the star! The lady who served me was very nice and helpful. I would like to try the Hallo Hallo next time. A very filling meal for only $15.

Great authentic Filipino food. The staff was extremely friendly and helped explain the dishes to us. Bonus was they had a small karaoke stage with customer and staff participation!

This place is delicious!!!

My boyfriend and I aren’t that familiar with Filipino food and we wanted to start branching out, then we drove by Kabayan! The lady behind the counter was very helpful and answered all our questions. The menu was a little confusing for me, so I ordered by pointing at the food. Luckily, she saw how confused we look and offered little sample cups to help with our decision.

All the dishes taste SO GOOD with so much flavor and perfect spice level. I got a 2-entrées plate ($10), and my boyfriend got the 3-entrées ($12.50?). Each curry dish came in a styrofoam bowl which is perfect because each dish is unique and I didn’t want them to mix together. The spicy chicken dish was creamy with a small kick. It was spicy when I taste test it alone, but it wasn’t bad with the rice. The pork belly and pork skewer were surprisingly good! It wasn’t dry and bland as I imagined, but juicy and the burnt char around it added even more flavors.

We devoured our plates and still had 2 bowls of curry left as leftovers. I really liked the taste, price and service here. Their dine-in area is nice, but make sure to clean up after yourself. They also have a little store on the left side that sells like snacks if you wanted to try some.

One of the best Filipino food places in Dallas. The other restaurants not so good but this one we will definitely come back. We didn’t get to try the halo halo but it’s good food. You must try it!!!! They have lechon sold by the pound😁

Authentic filipino food. We love this place. They have grocery inside (dry and frozen products) and karaoke. They also offer shipping services to the philippines (they sell balikbayan boxes as well)

Mosy of all. We love the staff. They are really friendly and super enthusiastic

Thank you again chris, leila and bahayan dos for the usual great service

Friendly place that serves traditional native dishes from the Philippine islands that have become more and more embraced and appreciated with time. Influenced by Spain for over 300 years, mixed with previous seafaring Asian and Middle Eastern traders dispersed over 7000 islands results in a variety of dishes so diverse, enticing, some even familiar. Find out for yourself, as you will be disappointed; that you did not stop by sooner to get your fix of large portions of new favorites to be discovered located in an unassuming strip mall next to a pizza joint !

Except for food, everything is worth 5*. Lechon Kawali - more fat than meat, making food extremely greasy. No sauce was given. Grilled fish didn't have flavor & taste - might have to better season it before grilling. Same w/ lechon, no sauce. Does the store have no sauce?

Surprisingly, they didn't even provide any rice, even a cup to supplement the food I order - $60+.

Even if the restaurant looks so good, the service is good, environment is envigorating, it's the food that brings the customer back. There are plenty rooms to improve to better the food. Ty

Definitely, a great restaurant most specially the staff. Shout out to the staff working in the cashier(I forgot his name), we visited today, October 14, at almost 2pm or past 2pm. The place was spotless clean, the food was great, and the staff are friendly, pleasant, and accommodating.... my American husband even enjoyed the good.

If you’re in town and craving for the Best Filipino Foods with good quality and price as well, Kabayan Restaurant is the Best! Not to mention the excellent service of the Cashier (Soji). She calls everyone Kuya and Ate! Enjoy your food when you had the chance of an Authentic Filipino Cookings. They serve very good Lechon every Saturday. Come early or call because it sells fast.

There are all sorts of Filipino goodies in this store and it's a short drive away from Jollibee! They seem to have everything ube (jam, extract, polvorón, ice cream, etc). They've also got instant noodles, various flavors of pancit Canton, sotanghon cups, arroz caldo, champorado, tamarind sweeties and so much more. The turo-turo on the other side of the store is clean & reasonably-priced. Get their pork bbq stick! They are perfectly marinated with generous chunks of meat!

They do not deliver on ubereats so I decided to stop in. The food is genuinely delicious and incorporates those Filipino flavors I am nostalgic for. The prices are affordable with a huge plate coming out to $14. There are groceries with many Filipinos staples available as well. Will be back again and again

I'll preface this by saying that I'm not remotely Filipino, and trying this place began at an intersection of a matter of convenience and curiosity for me. A Filipino friend had encouraged me to try a few dishes over the years, and my experience had generally began and ended with stuff at Jollibee's.

But - in the process - I discovered a group of very warm, welcoming members of the community who've carved out a niche for the Filipino expatriate/immigrant community and done a great job at doing it.

The food is absolutely outstanding, and I've literally loved everything I've tried (my favorites being their take on chicken curry, adobo chicken, their pork bicol express, and the pork tocino - the garlic rice is always a good pairing with anything they serve, too).

The people are friendly, they're honest, and they're generous. This place feels more like a pillar of the community in North Dallas/Plano than it a market or restaurant. There's live music on many days, and they act as a shipping hub to send packages back to the Philippines, which seems very convenient to me, albeit not something I really need to make use of.

Still, even if you're not Filipino, they're gonna make you feel welcome and valued as a customer. I literally try to go every week. If you're on the fence, go ahead and cross. It's worth it.
