Big Lots never disappoints. It is always clean and has name brands at discounts you can afford. Great little store, run in, grab what you need, and you're done! They also have food, pet supplies, and furniture.

When I was young, my grandfather used to take me here. It's still here and still has the same nostalgic smell. I'll always love this place, even if I'm not often here.

You will almost, always find unusual things, not found anywhere else. There is a very popular area of Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri called Margarita Ville! It's not unusual to find celebrities their at the fine dining restaurants and/or clubs. I couldn't resist these Margarita Ville signs from Big Lots, no less!

Big lots is actually a very good place to buy foods. You will find failed attempts at brands here some of which are very high quality. One of my weekend funs is a trip to big lots to find a brand of staple food I've never tried before that looks high quality and bring it home and cook it up!

You know I love the quaintness, if you want to call it that, or maybe it's just the smaller size than your bigger shopping stores but Big Lots is one of my favorite stores because you never know exactly what you going to find in there. I especially like the employees because they are always very very nice and they don't seem to be your typical too busy to help the customer person in a big store. The best part about Big lots is comparison shopping. If you want to see how Walmart or Target compare with some a lot of a various products, Big Lots is where you go. They are by far my favorite place to buy candles because of the variety and varieties that are subject to change frequently as well. And then there are their sales, which hands down, is hard to beat. They offer just about everything that your bigger stores offer in a tenth of the size or square footage and to me that means a lot because it gives me more time to go through different departments and see what I might have forgotten I needed. In your bigger stores, I always feel like I'm in a race against the clock because of the size I really do have to move fast and be specific about what I head for.

I was shopping after Christmas sale today NW 63 store..50% off sale. Found a tin of Peppermint hot cocoa with jingle bells and Santa on the front..I asked employee the price and she went cashier to see she returned and said "yes it is 50 percent off." As I paid for my my things at the front...the lady said "no..these are not on Christmas sale.." wshe was very rude about
I explained to her the other lady had ch ecked already she said" NO!!!"so humiliated

I came to look for bookshelves on Thanksgiving morning. They had what I was looking for and also for a good priced. The cashier was friendly, which I was thankful for as many people are understandably grumpy working on holidays. I wish I remembered to look for a name tag.
