Game HQ

This is my favorite big game store! They have a huge selection of table top games, minis, paint & painting supplies, RPGs, gaming literature and guide books, neoprene mats, game carrying bags, dice, family games, card based games like Magic. The staff is very helpful! Game HQ has a huge gaming/play area, and a big game library to test games you may want to buy. They have open play nights and offer a wide selection of tournaments. The have a good presence on the Internet. They are adding more retail space on the store side! They are easy to find at S. Western Ave. and SW 89th Street in Oklahoma City.

This place is absolutely amazing. It has two large rooms that are connected by two open doorways and an employee window, one room is the store where you buy games, minis, paint kits and supplies, accessories like battle mats, props, expansion packs.

The other room is a massive public game room with tables, private rooms, and public scene props that you can grab off the wall and use in your game as long as you put them back when your done. It also has 4 big hanging tv screens lofted over the middle of the room for tournaments. They also sell snacks and water here too.

My favorite thing is their rewards program. It’s a free sign up and you accumulate 1 point for every dollar. You can use these points to pay off your item minus tax. I currently have 200+ points, so I can buy around $200 worth of items and only really pay the tax.

10/10 this is the table top gaming place to go in Oklahoma

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. If you play trading card games, like Magic: The Gathering, this is an excellent place to stop by. Their events are usually quite busy and fun. The staff will participate in games while off the clock. If a place of business can get the staff to hang out during their off hours, you know it is a good place.

Amazing game store. A huge selection of different game types. Friendly staff and they usually have what we are looking for. They also have a huge gaming area and actually stay open late enough to play. I wish we lived closer but it is worth the 90 mile drive once every few months to visit.

Really nice and quiet space for a nerd to browse a wide selection of board games, tabletop games, minis and paints. They have everything you need to get started painting minis for tabletop gaming. It isn't all top tier but none of it is junk as far as tool quality goes. A lot of Citadel and Army painter representation but no other paint brands. Overall a great place to visit.

I love this store. We moved to Texas and still every time we visit family we stop by. Half the store has tables and chairs for tabletop gaming and they have events. The other half hase board games, dice, figures, and the like. Great place for gamers.

There is no shortage of board game and TTRPG selections here. Lots of dice too at Cary ng price points from started to fancy.

Game HQ turned out to be the second and final store I visited, and it's safe to say I didn't need to go anywhere else. The experience here was so outstanding that it left a lasting impression.

I've been going here for many years for my table top roleplaying game needs and when board or card games catch my fancy from YouTube.
Bryan and the many people who work there have been helpful and friendly.

As someone who frequents this place on the regular this place is awesome. I have not been to a game store with a larger table area. Its freaking huge. Tables for days, and now private rooms. For a small cost of course. The place is always buzzing with people so you know its a place to be. The store side has a really great selection of games and figures. You wont be disappointed with this place.

Staff is extremely friendly, very knowledgeable. Lots of variety of merchandise sold, and has a clearance/used area that offers many games at a great discount. The store offers many different game nights, to those experienced and novice players. It's good way to meet people, The store offers snacks, and the players are friendly and awkward which is a good combination

Old school game store. Pretty good selection of magic cards. Priced fairly. Had to wait an hour to get my cards but beats buying online for bulk rares. Highly recommend

GameHQ is not a "Store" it's more of a destination.
You come here to maybe shop or look around but end up finding new and exciting adventures.

A great place to buy your gaming needs. Large selection, fair prices (with a military discount), and friendly folks.

Gotten a couple of games for here. The prices range from cheaper (on sale) to pricey. Most of the expansions and board games I’ve gotten have been comparable to what I would find on Amazon or the manufacturer’s website. Staff is great! Im looking forward to coming in for game nights.
