Oh Fudge Shoppe

I recently took a trip around Michigan and wanted some fudge.
I tried it from here for the first time and the fudge was fresh and delicious! Truly the best fudge I’ve had!!

I love this place - have been going there for many years. I love the little rooms with themes- such as the pirate room. I purchase a couple of small pirate flags- I put them on my deck to see the wind direction- whimsical and fun to me.
The fudge is made in house and is delicious. Lots of Michigan sweatshirts t-shirts. Assorted children's toys- candy and souvenirs. The owner and staff are all vacation friendly- just nice relaxed people and atmosphere.

Great little place. I didn't realize how cute the town was too. I went at around noon and they had a sign on the door saying they were closed until three, but it was a great opportunity to explore the beautiful area.

I bought a quarter pound of both the chocolate amaretto and the Tiger Butter (peanut butter on top of vanilla) fudge, and they were fantastic: great flavor, smooth and creamy (no graininess), sweet but not overbearingly so. I kept both bars in an airtight container and they stayed soft for two weeks.

This Shoppe around the corner and on main street Lexington is a true gem, just like the book store in the movie...You've Got Mail. It holds sacred the fun and atmosphere of the small town feel, and the legacy of Lexington wrapped up in the taste of all their fudge. The employees and the owner are truly dedicated to the Shoppe and the joy that it makes us all feel when we enter and exit. The witty repartee of the "Fudge Master" Joe and the taste of his fudge is the unique balance that everyone enjoys year after year. The employees there have come and gone, like the right of passage for the old town summer job and the nostalgic feel of having the best summer job of smiles, selling joy, and being a part of main street atmosphere that is Lexington, MI.

And to the Karen's that complain about that wittiness and name call people in both this town and our Shoppe, please take your attitude and negativity elsewhere. Get your fudge from the big box stores and feel free to take selfies with our town in the rear view mirror.

This is exactly what a downtown store in a tourist town should be. Overpriced t-shirts and candy! They have a pretty good selection of candy including fancy handmade candy and fudge. Only place I can find sixlets anymore.

Love this store, cute and quaint... made me miss the old down town Port Huron in the '70s and '80s. I definitely will be back. My 5 y.o. daughter got her Christmas shopping done here. :-)
