We came here my husband and I for a quick rest and relax weekend. And we had such a blessed and wonderful time staying at Lexington House and meeting Donna & joe ❤ These 2 totally understand how to deliver the 3 CCC... Care, Comfort and Communication!! We felt like family to them. Such wonderful hosts and wonderful human beings ❤ The Cottage room was very cozy and clean. The mattress was a bit softer than our liking due to both of us have back issues but the king size bed was plenty spacious and beautiful! Snacks, coffee, tea station and water provided 24 hours. You also have a coffee area right outside your door. The Communication is 5 star with this B & B...we will 100% be back soon to try another beautiful room and enjoy the company!! Thank you Donna & Joy, for leaving such warm memory in our hearts! We love you both!

Donna and Joe were the sweetest people and their homemade cinnamon rolls were the best! We stayed in the Garden Room and not only was it cozy and comfortable with the fireplace, but it had the most comfortable bed! 10/10 everything, we definitely will be back!

3 of us couples stayed here. Location was great because we did a show at the Lexington Theatre. This is one of the better B&B’s we’ve stayed in. The Host and Hostess go above and beyond to be sure your stay is perfect. The breakfast was great. The themed rooms are delightful. Clean neat and the beds are like sleeping on clouds. You’ll definitely want to try this place out in your travels. Lexington is a cute town too.

We stayed at the Lexington House over night New Year’s Eve with four other couples and had a blast. Donna and Joe were very welcoming and accommodating in their beautiful B&B and prepared for our every need, if we had one. We definitely plan on returning!!

We had a lovely first floor room. The gardens were very lovely and we enjoyed walking around them. Very close to downtown Lexington and the shops. Our hosts were very friendly and Joe made lovely breakfasts--while accommodating my gluten-free requirement. On our second evening we went into the dining room very late, to get something to drink. When we open the double doors, there was a lit tree, fairy lights by the coffee bar, in battery operated pillar candles on the table. It looked magical. We look forward to coming again.

This is a great place to stay within walking distance to everything from the beach to the theater. Donna and Joe are the perfect hosts by making you feel like family in their home. Joe makes a delicious breakfast and they will both sit down to talk and give you good local recommendations and history of the house. Joe even makes homemade scones which was a great afternoon snack. The grounds are very well kept with beautiful flowers. Windjammer is great for sitting along the marina and they have good food that includes pretty sushi. The Cadillac house also has good food and right across the street from the theater which is a must as they have great performances with every seat being a good seat.
Will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends

Of course
10 all the way
You guys were the hostess with the most
We plan to be back real soon.
Thank you for everything the charcuterie, the wine, the tickets, the dinner reservations and the show but mostly your company and hospitality was beyond superb. ❤

Donna and Joe were excellent hosts I took my girlfriend here for her birthday, they picked out a fantastic bottle of wine and made a beautiful bouquet of flowers for our room. Joe is a great cook and we were more then satisfied after breakfast, they have a gorgeous property and we enjoyed the wine in the garden and bench swing. Lexington is a peaceful quaint little town and every thing was a easy walk from the B&B which was wonderful we ate at the windjammer one night and Cadillac house the other surprisingly both restaurants were very accommodating to gluten free options and had great food and cocktails. The state park is a quick drive for the beach or a nature hike, we hope to be back again and will be recommending this place to friends and family.

Thank you Donna and Joe for hosting us and making great memories

We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast, but I wanted to do it. My husband wasn’t so sure, but he finally agreed. Donna and Joe were wonderful hosts. We felt so comfortable in their home. The experience exceeded all of our expectations. Surprisingly it was my husband who suggested we come back for a future visit. So if you have never been to a bed and breakfast this should be your first stop!

Donna and Joe were wonderful hosts! We stayed in the cottage room for my birthday. It was quaint, squeaky clean, and beautifully adorned. I loved the color scheme! It was also the NICEST bed I have ever slept in - sourced from a Grand Rapids company! Breakfast was delicious and homemade each morning. It is so close to the downtown area as well which was perfect so we didn't have to drive! My friend participated in the reiki healing add on with Donna - she said it was a very peaceful and restorative experience. We will definitely be back! ❤

Donna and Joe were fantastic hosts. They were extremely friendly, loved to talk during morning breakfast. Joe and Donna even broke open a few bottles of wine on our first night to share with us before dinner. Definitely will come back.

Very beautiful, quiet room with private bathroom .It lived up to expectations of being very old and amazingly kept up.Grounds and rooms are beautifully decorated, lovely, so clean. My allergies didn't notice I wasn't home. The breakfast was top notch delicious with blueberry Dutch baby pancakes, scrambled eggs, scones, tea, Oj, fresh browned potatoes, and stories shared with our host.

Donna and Joe were awesome hosts. From the moment we stepped inside their beautiful home we had everything we needed and offers of more. Joe is an excellent cook and served us delicious breakfasts. Donna came to my aid when I gad a bad fall at a beach prior to arriving at Lexington House. I’m giving them the highest rating and encourage anyone who wants to be spoiled to stay at Lexington House.

This is an amazing bed and breakfast! Our room was very comfortable. The bed was soft and like sleeping on a pillow. No one was staying besides us and we felt like we were spoiled with breakfast and the hospitality. I didn't get to try the ice cream next door, mostly because it was cash only and I kept forgetting to get cash out. It is only a block or two from the downtown main street area. It is right on the road and we did not hear anything all night. I really enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I booked a room here for our 35th wedding anniversary and we are so glad we did! Our room was quaint and clean with a private bathroom. The house was charming as were the owners, Donna and Joe. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The Inn is walking distance to downtown and to the marina. We highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Lexington.
