Cedar Chest

Great place up north across from Lake Superior. Extensive selection of Christmas ornaments and other seasonal items available year round. This business owned and run by the Bartel family and they do a great job of presenting the merchandise and always having a great selection of local items as well. Always a must stop everytime I drive up the north shore through Beaver Bay.

We go to the Cedar Chest to get Minnetonka moccasins, but they do have a lot of other nice stuff there.

The Cedar Chest is a great place for you to stop and shop during your North Shore Adventure especially if you want to buy clothes, books or woodsy decorations for your home or cabin. They also have shoes, bird houses, candy, collectibles, kids toys and games. I have bought rabbit pelts here before and John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon shirts. This small locally owned business located in the Beaver Bay Mini Mall is open year round and shares it's space with Christmas Up North. I have taken a few photo's to show you the variety of items they have for sale. Wiener dog fans will love the dog bowls.

Delightful rest stop while on your adventuresome travels on the great North Shore. Plenty of petrol and snacks and Delightfully friendly staff.
