Surprisingly useful and convenient grocery store and more. I had no idea it was a grocery store or related to dollar general until I visited. It's like a tiny Walmart Supercenter. And it's open late! Well stocked and maintained too.

Friendly people. We go there once a week on our way to our boat. All the supplies that we need are all in one place. They are open until 11pm, meanwhile every other store has closed up for the night. Unless its the 24hr gas station.

There is always a long line and one person at the register. I'm literally in line as I write this though the shoppers here are definitely not the brightest. There is a lady in front of me who is apparently "a cashier" yet she can't read or read her itemized receipt. She is arguing with cashier about how to do her job. And guess what her 1 coupon didn't work now she wants to void her whole transaction! Not considerate to the 7 people behind her waiting for her to be done with her 20 minutes transaction.

This Dollar General came through. Needed an emergency gas can to carry gas to a stranded family member. Stays open until 11pm so that is a bonus in an area of Ruskin that rolls up the streets and cuts out the light S around 9pm. Courteous and friendly personnel. Fast and easy checkout. Wide variety of merchandise.

Very nice helpful staff. Will always return. Walmart and target take a lesson from dollar general on how to treat your customers right.

When you are in a hurry, and you don't necessarily need to go into a grocery. This store has a nice selection.

Scholar this dollar store is convenient and usually has pretty much what you need for home needs. It's off of 41 in Ruskin.
