Detwiler's Farm Market

This place is amazing!! All produce fresh and BIG!!! I will say this place is very crowded on a week day so I can only imagine how weekends are. At the checkout we saw a Bavarian pretzel and obviously had to get it and we all devoured it immediately in the car!

We do about 90% of our food shopping here. Great product selection and very fair prices. Wide variety of produce including some exotics. Well staffed.

It takes a little effort picking through the produce to find undamaged specimens but your effort will be rewarded.

Deli service and variety is outstanding. People are very helpful and customer focused.

The store can get very crowded at times and parking can be a challenge.

Also on offer - fresh seafood, great ice cream, in store bakery, prepared foods, snacks and other grocery items.

I shop here pretty exclusively for fish, meat and produce. I find everything fresh and reasonably priced for the quality. I feel the veggies and fruits are more from local sources or trustworthy partners and not overly treated and grown for unnatural shelf life. I shop more frequently and am very happy with the products and people at detwilers.

Well my first time here at this farmers market I didn't know what to expect start out outside all kinds of vegetables you could try oranges you could try grapefruits in the strawberries were on sale at strawberry picking time in Florida they had cantaloupes on sale honeydew melons on sale or at 12:50 eat fresh for less Amish market so you walk inside I didn't know what to expect they had all kinds of stuff on sale inside from 399 from 8020 Hamburg USDA choice to 999 for strip steaks so we go inside you can sample of cheese you can sample more strawberries they have soup stay candies peanuts and stuff so we make it over to have ice cream they have you know sandwiches they have McDonald's sandwiches crab cakes to sample all kinds of food inside the sample looks like strawberries a deal of the day and I didn't know what to expect I thought it just looked like a produce place but inside this place is crazy man they got all kinds of stuff produce to meet to Seafood let's go to the bakery the bakery was from smelled so good in there

First time here and boy, what a great store! Their meat, produce and bakery are on point. I would compare them to Dave's in New England which is a huge compliment.

We go here weekly to pick up fresh fish as well as our meats and cheeses. Well run and efficient. The corn is really great as well. best produce and homemade goods . Their homemade apple bread is to die for. Just everything in this super store is super good here and the homemade ice cream is so delicious. 2 Thumbs up. It was Packed as usual. And the variety of fruits and vegetables really great. Packed as usual.

This place is AWESOME! Excellent Crab legs, amazing homemade ice cream, delicious soup by the ice cream counter, fresh fruits and vegetables, a bakery with all kinds of treats... super busy most of the time, but well worth it. Simply delicious.

Love this store for produce, meats and fish. Everything is fresh and nicely displayed. Yes, the store can get crowded, that’s because you can’t beat the prices.

I enjoy a trip to Detweiler’s for fresh produce, breads and a dessert of sorts now and then. My favorite is the pumpkin spice cake cookies with the frosting in the middle. They have friendly service and always have plenty of people working. They are always busy!

Hands down- best grocery store I've ever been to!! Fresh fresh fresh produce, a pineapple machine that cuts the pineapple for you, seafood at half the price of the local fish market, incredibly nice staff and customers and to top it off as a first-time customer I even got a free scoop of ice cream!!

It's like being at the West Side Market in Cleveland Ohio on a Saturday morning. Great products. Good prices. Customer service..... well that's hit or miss and oddly enhances the experience! Enjoy!

Love Detwiler's! Fresh local produce. Red navels and strawberries. The brown shrimp were big and delicious. Cheese selection was good. Loved the smoked horseradish cheddar. Go early. Be patient.

Beautiful selection of fruits and vegetables all year round! You can find rare items like soursop, mamey, lychee, passion fruits and lots more tropical delicious fruits.. Lots of local produce also- depending on seasons. Currently selling local strawberries and citrus. Prices are amazing, there's are crazy sales happening everyday- see prices on pictures.

OMG, I love this place. They have the best pulled BBQ in the world. The deli has delicious meats and cheeses, and the employees are the most polite people. This market has the nicest employees.

I love their steaks, and chicken, and we buy the large red Argentina shrimp every time we go there. You can't beat their prices. We recently bought their salmon cakes, lobster cakes, and crab cakes. We plan on buying the crab cakes again, but will pass on the lobster and salmon. They were just a little too spicy for us.

If you are ever in the area, you must stop by and see all that Detwilers has to offer.

Great place for all fruits and vegetables that are fresh as can be. You’ll find so many options. The best things to buy here are all of the citrus Fruits and mint leaves. I go here whenever I’m in the area and you cannot best the prices! The workers are super nice and will help you find what you need.

Definitely one of the Greatest Additions to Venice Florida. Produce, Deli, Seafood, Bakery, Everything is the Freshest and Highest Quality and the Daily Specials can not be matched. Love Detwiler's ! 👍😊

Ice cream is delicious in here and the prices are better than Walmart

Great place for produce, smoothies, baked goods, homemade ice cream, and more. Prices on produce are very low, mostly conventional, limited organic selection but im sure that will change in the future. Very busy and can be difficult to park yet worth the trouble.

Love it...they have the largest wild caught shrimp I ever saw. Ice cream the best! Can't wait to go back.

Excellent little market with great homemade dips and grocery. Always stop here when in town.
