i went here yesterday to find out about having a mag. holder made for my shoulder holster and before i knew it. aaron was making it for me in brown and i brought it home with me wow he is really good with leather and design it looked great and fits my holster fantastic. if you need a great product this is the place to go.

Mr. Bauman is one of the best leather workers I have ever seen. Twice this week I brought him a new gun holster that I didn't even buy from him. The holster needed the belt loops widened extensively, because as it came, the slots were far too narrow and short to accommodate most men's belts. Mr. Bauman fixed this while I waited (took less than 10 minutes), and also then worked to stretch the leather and detail it with coloration so that it perfectly matched the original design thus keeping it looking like brand new. The next morning, the snap on the thumb-break broke (it was defective from the factory), so I brought the holster back to Mr. Bauman to see if he could repair it. This time Mr. Bauman took less than five minutes, and replaced the snap with a superior one that looked every bit like the original defective one but worked perfectly from the first snap. What did Mr. Bauman charge me for all of this work on a holster that didn't even come from his shop? Almost nothing (his cost for the snap), and I was prepared to pay at least 20 times that for all the he did and I still would have felt like I was getting a fair price. I cannot recommend this leather shop highly enough!

I have a very special horse collar that had the straps chewed off by a young frisky gelding..... I took it here to see if it could be repaired & in 10 minutes he had new straps sewn on for me!!! What a BLESSING!!! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!

I have a belt that I have worn almost every day since I bought it from this place about 10 years ago and it only needs a new rivet. If it ever fully wears out, I'll gladly make my way back to Monterey.

Awesome place, two nice leather belts and a absolutely beautiful gun holster, made for the 44 but it holds my 357 and not really made to hold 357 bullets but in all absolutely beautiful workmanship.

I bought a real nice quality black leather belt there and he fit it to my size and he rounded the end of the belt and punched the holes in to it for the buckle ,very nice people and great prices.... p
