Lunch and the home made donuts are truly something you must try. Has nice items in the store and people are friendly

We ordered specialty sandwiches and they were ready within a few minutes and were delicious! We also purchased sour dough breads that are so good! The store has a great selection of herbs, spices, and other baking needs, and too many other things to mention. Well worth the drive from Monterey.

First time eating here today and had a Very good cheese burger. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Sat out on the front porch and enjoyed the quietness.

Our favorite place to visit on Saturday mornings. Out of town family and friends always request a return trip to the Country Porch at Muddy Pond. We love the breakfast sandwiches, donuts, lunch, shopping, friendly staff, cleanliness, playground, outdoor eating pavilion, and beautiful drive all the way there.

This is our first visit to The Country Porch and it has been an awesome experience!! Started with an absolutely delicious lunch and then did a little shopping. Such a great selection of things throughout the store and many Mennonite items. Everything is arranged so attractively with both high quality and good prices to go with it. I would definitely recommend The Country Porch. We loved it.

What an interesting place out in the country! We are from out of state, and just happened by this quaint country store and stopped in. They have such a wide array of items, from a bakery and deli, to dry goods and a dairy cooler. I've never seen some of the items before. Many kitchen gadgets, toys, a little cafe, and beautiful wind chimes and other gifts and home goods. I purchased a couple of pretty braided rugs. Certainly worth the stop!

I love visiting this store and riding through the country. They have fresh sandwiches, hot or cold and plenty of other goods to shop for. The fresh daily bread and sweets, are a must, to purchase.

Loved my very first visit! The Chicken salad was so good on fresh baked bread. And a terrific little store in a Minonite community just outside of Monterey, TN.

Such a great find in a getaway trip. We stopped in for snacks and found an amazing lunch. Great customer service.

1st time here. We've lived in Tennessee for over 4 years now & have had several people tell us about this place. So glad we finally took a drive. Where do I start...... I had a Rubin sandwich oh my gosh! The best ever! My husband had the burger he said it was so good. We shared a small potato salad. Just like grandma use to make. We bought black berry jam, sourdough bread, German chocolate cake (a slice) & a half of a carrot cake. It took me 4 days to eat the German chocolate cake piece! Their sourdough bread is amazing! Definitely a must visit for local & visitors.

Had lunch there, enjoyed it very much. All sandwiches made to order on fresh baked bread.
Lots of Amish food, snacks and gifts at store. Nice bakery with great Apple pies and other homemade treats.

Besides being a neat little store worth checking out, their deli is amazing. I was unsure about their bread for their specialty sandwiches at first, but I couldn't have been more pleased with it after taking that first bite. Like I said... worth it!

Love the lunches here. We always buy lunch mear and cheese here. I just wished they would separate the cheese sliced.

Fun place run by Mennonite's. Excellent food, bakery goods, and sandwiches. Lots of merchandise farm fresh bulk food.

Love this out-of-the-way store, well worth the drive! Not only is it well stopped with bulk foods, fresh bakery items, fresh dairy, and and lots of nice gifts and household items, but the deli is amazing! You can get meats and cheese sliced to order, or a sandwich to eat in the small dining room off to the side of the store or outside in the pavilion. I had a roast beef sandwich and I think the best part was the fresh baked bun. My sister had a chicken wrap and a chicken had such a delicious, fresh call my well seasoned flavor. I've been back for more and want to try everything they've got.
