Just picked up my farmhouse table a few days ago and I can’t say enough about how pleased I am. It is a beautiful table, very well-made, and I am so excited to have it. Communication was good. Pick up was easy. Thank you so much. **The chairs are a work in progress**

My husband ordered me some custom barn doors from here and they turned out beautiful! Our friends ordered doors after seeing ours. The man who set up our doors was also wonderful and improvised where needed during installation. We will be ordering again.

We ordered a year ago and have been very pleased with the finished product. John was also helpful in getting precise measurements needed for the space. Ordering and payment was easy and door was complete on time. Delivery was arranged and install all done with no issues. I have recommended Splendora Custom Wood to many of my friends and neighbors. The work and design is not bad and reasonable pricing. But the service could improve. For starters, when setting a deadline stick to or at least be communicative about changes. I had to keep reaching out about status updates because he wouldn't. Instead, I got excuses about his work, lack of help or whatever else that came up in the conversation. In a nutshell, it took about a 1mo & 1/2 from beginning to end.
I sent pictures over, but there are other pieces of information that should be communicated when placing the order. Such as, if there are any items or things blocking where the door will open & close, will a lock/handle be needed, etc. I ordered a kit from amazon needed for the door to slide, as well as a handle and latch for both sides. What I didn't buy or know about were additional items needed for the base of the door to keep the door from pushing out. So when the door opens it swings a bit forward. On the day of installation the installer told me that would need to be ordered separately. When I did and asked the guy about installing it he became unresponsive. Now I'm left with a swinging door & having to spend more money to hire another installer.
Overall I think the ordering process could greatly be improved and perhaps have better installers that install not just the door but everything needed so the door will function appropriately.

I would not recommend Splendora Customwood. Buyer beware. While Mr. John is a nice man I have had a terrible experience working with him. I order my doors in July .. paid for everything on time. He missed the deadline and said he didn't have enough help. I was understanding. I did not get my door installed until October and one of the doors was two inches two short. When I let him know he said he would make another one which took several months. We agreed that he should pay the installer to replace the door when it came time he said he could not pay and if I wanted my door I would have to pay the installer myself. After much back and forth with John and the installer I agreed to pay for it myself. The installer comes today with the door and it is the correct size but it was painted the wrong color. Like I cannot win with him. Honestly save yourself the headache or you might end up paying for more than you bargained for.

Works was decent. Communication and customer service is horrible. Time quotes for completion was extended. Blames the customer for his mistakes (have proof of all this) and then wants to tell the customer they are a pain in the a**. Doors show up with a subpar paint job🤦🏻‍♂ and wants to pass fault onto his helper and “he” has to redo the work that is why it took longer for completion. I do not recommend doing business with this person.

After speaking with John regarding a door he gave me the price and also stated that he has a contractor that will deliver and install the door for $150. The day finally came for my to get my door installed. He gave me the contact to the installer and had me schedule the install. The contractor came and installed the door and when I was going to pay he stated the price was now $225. I let him know I was told $150 and he stated that that was another contractor that John deals with and his prices are different. When I notified John regarding this he stated that the guy that does the $150 he hasn’t heard from in a while so the new contractor was supposedly “told” about the $150 for the last customers and charge $175 for new customers. When speaking with the contractor he knew nothing about this. After contacting John you would think he would do something about it but nope. Advised me that I should have asked for the price. I would have asked for the price had I not had it in writing that the install was $150. So now I’m stuck to pay the extra $75 for the install and he doesn’t even care. Def wouldn’t do business with an individual like this who doesn’t take responsibility for issues such as these. I would give him 1 star
