I came to buy a couple missing bolts I need for my install. I just need 3 bolts. The guy took great care of me, making sure I got the right parts. They even went inside and switch the parts to a heavier duty (stainless) bolts once he know I'm using it for outdoor. When I ask how much it is, they just said don't worry about it. I think they deserve recognition for going above and beyond knowing that they won't even charge me money for the parts. I will be back for any future needs!

These guys are the most customer obsessed hard ware store I have been to. If you go there with a problem, they go out of their way to solve it, compare this to some place like Home depot where the help is a lot less personal. I go there regularly now that i have been working on rebuilding the suspension on my Jeep.

I went to there to find a match for a missing bolt to secure the roof top box on my car. Mike in the store went above and beyond to help me solve the problem. He was very knowledgeable and kind. There wasn’t a perfect matching bolt but Mike found a close one that will also work. I really appreciate it.

Very knowledgeable and friendly service. Came in after dealing with an appliance manufacturer, Zypher, for 2 months and 50 phone calls and put on hold over a single machine screw that didn't arrive with the product. I didn't catch the employees name, but he was able to determine the exact screw I needed as I brought in the matching screw and in my hand in a matter of 30 seconds!

I had a fantastic experience here. Ian helped me find and install a specialty bolt to replace a part of my bike that wasn’t made anymore - trying again and again for 30 mins - helping me brainstorm solutions, until it worked! 10/10 would go again. Dad material right there

What a great experience! I was in need of a couple machine screws of a specific size. I walked in the door a minute before closing but the employee working was still more than willing to help me find exactly what I was looking for. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and because I was only picking up a few, he gave them to me for free! I will definitely be coming back here instead of a big box store the next time I need any shop supplies.

These guys have great products and services. When it comes to screws these guys are the gold standard. I was looking for a few dollars worth of screws and they have exactly what I needed. The gentleman helping me said if I could guess the price of the screws that I was purchasing he'd give them to me for free. I missed it by two cents but nonetheless I thought that was a great customer service thing to do. These guys deserve your business I know they have mine.

I can't even begin to brag about the customer service at this location! Mike, the Manager was so helpful and truly went above and beyond to help me find the right screws for the awning on my Van. He not only figured it out but actually put the parts on, which were not easy! The 3 screws were under a dollar and he said he wouldn't charge me......truly amazing! The level of service was far more than I ever expected. I can't say enough good things about this store and the Manager, Mike! Way to go and I will continue to spread the word about how wonderful he is! There are still good people in the world who don't try to take advantage of you!

I love this place.
I've now been here 5 times. Each time the staff here has gone above and beyond my expectations for what has amounted to peanuts I'm sure for them.
First time was to get a metric screwdriver bit. I ran around all over town trying to find someone who had them. Even online it's near impossible to get high quality metric bits. They had them in stock and gave me just what I needed. Think I ended up spending a little over $3.
Second and third times I needed a small collection of random metric nuts and screws for a 3D printer. They spent 5-10 minutes each time gathering up everything I needed from their back-room stock. First time I think the cost was $3.61. Second time they just considered them "samples" and didn't charge at all, and even spent time matching a metric set screw I needed extras of.
Fourth time I needed an unusually long metric screw which they ordered from their distributor (a single screw!) and gave it to me later in the week. Again, no charge.
Each time I've visited the staff were super friendly and helpful and made me feel important even though I was barely spending anything.
Their store has all sorts of neat supplies, tools, and materials too. I'm definitely going to do my best to shop there whenever I can.

One of the few errands stops I look forward to making... the folks at Tacoma Screw are always pleasant (dare I say enjoyable) and they are incredibly knowledgeable.

My first choice for anything remotely related. If I could get lunch here I would drop in constantly, with.or without a fastener issue. :-)

I needed help for some set screws that would be used on and optical instrument for our charity. (VOSH Northwest.) It ended up three representatives helped me, with the best service I have experienced in the past years. Thanks so much.

If you need exotic screws or other fasteners this is the place to go. They have tons of goodies. Be prepared to spend hours inside 😊. The staff is friendly and helpful for real. They are ready to go and search in the back for tiny screws for you for half an hour and give you alternatives. I should have found this place ten years ago. You should not repeat my mistake and you should visit now.

Couldn't be happier with a business that truly cares about providing a service over turning a profit. Needed a very specific bolt for mounting a brake caliper on my car and these guys had no trouble matching the bolt I brought. Special thanks to Tim who was so kind as to give me the bolt and accompanying lock washer free of charge since I only needed one. Looking forward to needing their service again.

The service I experienced was very efficient, friendly and fast! Paul found the screw I needed for my car within a matter of minutes and was so nice and professional. I will definitely, without a doubt be returning for any future service I need!

Can't beat their selection of screws! And staff (and other customers) this morning were very patient and courteous even though store was VERY busy. Phone was ringing and I was #5 in line waiting for cashier. All parking spots were taken. Place was hopping busy, yet the counter person took the time needed to make sure I got the specialty part and tool I needed. I'll go back!

Ladies, pay attention. This place has saved me so much time and aggravation. The gentlemen behind the desk can find strange colors, sizes and know the difference between pitches. No more getting lost in Home Depot for me. Now I get what I need the first try. Oh, and if your hubby likes tools the guys have lots of great fathers day or birthday ideas.

These guys are the best and this review is long overdue. They offer Nordstrom-like customer service. I have been coming here for years and despite my orders being small, they often give them to me free. They also often "round up" when giving you change which is unexpected as well. These guys treat you right.

Great selection of hardware and tools. Always solid advice for hardware fitment questions. Prices on tools are a little high, but everything they sell is high quality and they stand behind it. If you want budget tools, go to Home Depot.

I've gone to Tacoma Screw for many years, both for business and personal use. They have a great selection of quality fasteners, as well as some building materials, tools, cleaners, etc. The salespeople are friendly and knowledgeable.
Their prices for tools are not the cheapest you'll find, but they are hard to beat when you need a particular screw or bolt.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Needed some specific screws for a project, they found the exact ones I needed no issue. Super friendly staff too.
