Food prices are kind of high, but the service was good and the plastic bag they gave me for my food was really high quality, nit the kind that falls apart in a day

Okay, it may not be an upscale fueling station and convenience store, but we drive that highway a lot to visit relatives in the lower Yakima Valley. And there have been many times over the decades that I was so glad that gas station was there! ...even if only to get a bag of cashews, a coconut water and to stretch my legs.

I realize many might give lower ratings for similar places, but my mom taught me to avoid rating at all, if i couldn't find something nice to say. So ... "Compared to WHAT?", is what I ask myself ... compared to other options in the area, this has truly been a gem in the desert! ;)

They have a lot of random stuff that you would need while staying in Desert Aire. The gas is a lot more expensive than Mattawa which is only a 5 minute drive west.
