From my first call, he arrived to my house on time, with samples. He took measurements and got back with me promptly with the design.
This is a second home for us, and were unable to meet in person all the time. Ulric scheduled multiple zoom meetings to review and tweak the design. When we travel to our home, he was VERY accommodating in meeting with us face to face when asked.
His products are excellent quality, and they arrived on-time and were installed on schedule.
He is also well respected by the Top Shop whom he worked with for the counter tops and installation.

I'm normally hesitant to provide positive reviews - if things don't work out as well for the next person, I'd feel responsible.  But if you're considering a kitchen renovation, I can unequivocally recommend Rappahannock Cabinet Co. in Warsaw, VA.  This renovation was a major one with complete removal of very outdated cabinetry and countertops (circa 1988), new doors/walls, new ceiling, moved appliances, modified plumbing, and lots of electrical changes.  Throughout each stage of the process, Rappahannock Cabinet Co. was incredible.

Initial Consultation:  Ulric and Tony provided ample options and a ton of very helpful advice and considerations, and then developed a 3D model of the proposed design to aid in fine-tuning and visualizing the final product.  At no point was there any upselling pressure; in fact, Ulric was very quick to provide trade-space options that could've resulted in savings had we wanted them.  He was incredibly patient and helpful with the plethora of questions and modifications I proposed, even with some very late-stage additions that I requested.

Demo/Construction:  After final design and obtaining all materials, construction began with less than three weeks before Christmas.  It was a very aggressive schedule, but one that we sincerely appreciated, knowing we'd be able to use the kitchen for the holidays.   Enabling them to meet that schedule was the fact that they are able to do all of the necessary work (i.e., cabinetry, plumbing, carpentry/flooring/ceiling, painting, and electrical) without need for additional subcontractors.  (On this project, they did work with The Top Shop for the quartz countertops - huge thanks to Scotty and Top Shop, too!)  As expected with a project of this size, there were hiccups during demolition and construction; what's important is how a contractor deals with those inevitable issues.  The team was completely upfront and transparent with every issue and completely resolved each one.  With only a few days left in the schedule, the construction team worked A LOT of extra hours to ensure that the kitchen was in a functional state for Christmas; huge thanks to Tony, Jeremy and Mikey for those very late nights!

Final Touches:  Through no fault of their own, there were a few things that had to be completed after the holidays, including the copper ceiling inlays that suffered from shipping delays.   But the team meticulously went through each item on the punch list, resulting in a kitchen we absolutely love.

We are new to the area and did not have any idea where to start — and were very nervous about the whole kitchen reno idea. Since Rappahannock Cabinetry was right down the street, we started there and never bothered to get any more estimates. There was a comfort with and confidence in Ulrich right off the bat. He was warm, but straight forward and professional. Not only was the estimate reasonable, but his policy of not starting the project until everything was in place really appealed. He gave us a start and completion date — and the best thing of all — he met those dates! That is mostly unheard of. His installation team is wonderful. Dave and all his “guys” did great work, and we enjoyed having them in our home. They also returned promptly to make some minor adjustments in the cabinets. We took a gamble not looking into any other companies — but it paid off in every way. You can’t go wrong.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Rappahannock Cabinetry Co. are professional, caring, and courteous experts in their field. Our experience with Rappahannock Cabinetry was wonderful! From beginning to end they guided, advised and built our dream kitchen. We could not be happier with our new cabinets! The first time I spoke with the owner Ulric I knew I was speaking to the right person. He offered to come out and measure the space to give me an estimate. He arrived on time for our appointment and provided samples of different types of cabinets and hardware. He took measurements and asked all the right questions. He even brought things to my attention that I had not considered. Ulric made what could have been a stressful time, very comfortable and fun. He invited me to visit the showroom in Warsaw to view other options and cabinet accessories. I am so glad I did. The showroom was beautiful, and there were many options to choose from. The showroom included samples of countertops to help make my vision a reality. Once I made my cabinet selection, Ulric forwarded the information to the countertop business of my choice. This meant the countertop company knew the exact dimensions of what I needed before I even got there! It was amazing. A short time later our cabinets were installed. They are perfect. The installers were very friendly and professional. They made sure every detail was perfect before leaving. They even plan to return after the countertops are installed to make any needed adjustments. This company and its employees are top-notch. I highly recommend Rappahannock Cabinet Company!

We had been looking to redo our kitchen for almost two years and found many folks who could provide cabinets, but no one to do it turn key or even recommend a contractor who could provide the tear down, electrical, carpentry work and plumbing required.
A good friend said they had heard people recommend Ulric and David(his workers call him Tony.)
We found them almost in our back yard (Lottsburg) and they were here that week to look at our needs.
By this time we had a lot of ideas of what we wanted, but were unsure of many details and if we could fit it in our budget.
Ulric and David immediately had some good suggestions that improved our ideas and helped to keep it within our price range.
When the cabinets arrived, Ulric was able to schedule the install quickly. In under 2 weeks, David and his crew were able to do the demolition, install a new ceiling, lighting, other electrical work, flooring, doors, painting and coordinate the installation of countertops with The Top Shop (Scott) - they are great too!
Everyone I have talked with are amazed they were able to do the work while we were here and in that time frame. Many have said it took two to three months for comparable work.
As an aside and it may not be important in this day and age, but I can say, with all that work, you can imagine there were several "awe shucks moments." We never heard a curse word. I did hear David say " remember you are in a customers house" once, but I'm sure what was said was not that bad.
We can not recommend them more highly!

From the initial meeting regarding our kitchen re-do, Rappahannock Cabinetry came through. From professional graphic drawings to ideas and suggestions and execution of the job, these guys were spot on. Keeping us apprised of orders made and received and showing up every morning on time was promised and delivered.
