Food City

The store staff are very helpful, the store is kept clean and well organized. The prices and variety are also great! Overall, the store was much better than Walmart or most other places. The deli at Food City is by far the BEST deli I've seen in a grocery store. It's definitely worth the extra drive from where I live in the rural area.

This is a great location overall. It has a large, easily accessible parking lot, a great produce section, as well as great baked goods. The supermarket was extremely clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable.

Organized and clean. Helpful, especially early morning. Lovely white hair lady. Assists and saved me money with reward sign up.

I had a problem with my debit card and had to call my bank and get it sorted out. Anna and the team working with her took all of my frozen groceries and put them in the freezer while I waited to get my card reactivated. I was impressed with the above and beyond customer service. Thanks again!

What's a grocery store. Pricing seems good. They were kind enough to let me use the phone a few times. Cheap cigarettes if you're looking for them.

Great sushi. Fresh produce and meat with a huge selection of frozen goods. Pricey but worth it.

Clean store, friendly staff, well-stocked. The only issue are the people selling stuff and/or asking for donations at the door almost every weekend. Makes meprefer to go to other locations.

There a vary clean store. The customer service is GREAT. And they have GREAT steaks in the Deli department.

Vast inventory - yes, they have that.

Organized in a fashion that make sense - yes, they have that as well, you will not feel like a mouse in a maze.

Helpful staff - oh my goodness, everyone one here is really happy. That is so nice to see and feel.

Clean - yes, yes, yes. Very clean, brought a smile to my face.

Good prices - sadly, no one has this any more, but they are very competitive.

One stop shopping for a very successful birthday! Bakery -Lorraine and Lisa were very helpful and decorated a delicious chocolate sheet cake; Savannah couldn’t have been more helpful with helium balloons; ice, plates, all there, thank you!

Never heard of Food City until a few months ago. I love this grocery store! They have stuff Walmart don't carry in many places such as Sofrito and French cheeses. You get discounts with their customer card. I will never shop at Walmart again.

Good staff, bonus points for being next door to the liquor store!! This Food City is not the Super Food City (no salad bar, champagne fountains or any of the fancy accoutrements that Food City on Dayton Dr. have, been great and friendly staff. Just a wee bit smaller in size than most. Like it..ALOT!

This is probably my favorite Food City. It's layout is different but better for me! It just makes sense! I don't know what they give their staff but they are all smiles and hellos. Actually noticed myself leaving the store with a smile.

This store is in supreme condition every time I visit, but this time I opted for grocery pick up. It was great. My shopper was in touch during the whole trip asking for substitutions and recommendations, which I really appreciated. She came out was super friendly and helped me load the car.

Food City on Signal Mountain Road and Dayton Blvd are the best grocery stores are the best grocery stores in Chattanooga. They both guarantee the products that we buy. If I buy anything and it is bad, they will take it back ,refund my money or replace the product. The people who work there are constantly asking “ May I help you find something?” Dayton Blvd front manager is the best man. I want everyone to know,if you buy anything and you plan on cooking it 2 days later, you find it is bad. Take it back with your recipe for your refund or you will get the same product. The gasoline points are fantastic. Everyone should know you can get 30 cents off each gallon. The rest of the week you can get 15 cents off.

I came in at 15 til close (I’m sorry!!) and I was hurrying as fast as I could so I wouldn’t keep anyone there longer. I was delivering for Instacart and my customer needed diapers (and 3 other things), so I’m grateful for you all being open and allowing me to run through the store quickly! :) Jk, but thank you.

No one rushed me or made rude announcements every 3-5 min reminding the few in still shopping that you all closed at 11. I appreciate that bc I already hated having to run in that close to close but the announcements that some retailers make every few minutes are ridiculous and you all were great as always. Thanks!

Service is really good with the staff. I like getting their fried chicken it's enough for two meals at around 8 bucks. They have a very nice produce section. Bogosian you can get just one and get the discount.

Clean, organized grocery store with more options than others in the area. Cashier was nice and helpful to point out directions toward an item we were looking for.
