Poga/Elk Mills General Store & Gas Station

This store is a life saver I don't know what I do without it I give it 10 stars for the best of the best in everything they have and do must stop by great food plus all your needs at a price that's only fair this day in time and they make it as low as they can not trying to rob their customers. Ernie is the best he will give you the shirt off I'd his back if you needed it he great to run it and loves the people who stop by and remembers the locals and makes them his family thank yall for all you do.

I have only been there a few times in my life but it seems the world grows more distacne as far as stopping by to say hello how are you doing today. The people who work here and this whole community seems to stay the same all the time , that's comforting to me. To know that a place will be the same today as yesterday. There are just too many changes too fast ,in most other community s. When all the big companies realize we can't breathe asphalt it will be too late.

Nothing fancy but feels like you've stepped back in time like Mayberry. Nice lady working there. I grabbed a cup of coffee on my ride through the mountains from Boon (highly recommend the ride or drive!!)

Very prompt & satisfied! We had just about ran out of gas going from NC to TN and started to panic but the employee was very prompt getting to work. She was our life saver.

Nearest general store where I live and absolutely love this store. Tammy who usually works mornings is Amazing.

Small, quaint location with general necessities for any traveller as well as merchandise for everyday needs by locals. Open late for convenience. Friendly and helpful staff. Locals were very friendly and talkative as well.

This weekend is a old back woods country store I like it we stop there every time we work in the area probably becouse it's the only one in the area lol

Awesome frozen pizzas to take home. 3.00 deli turkey sandwitches.

Grew up shopping here and really miss the old owners but I love the cashier's that are there now too

Came here to get ice. Cheapest ice around! They sell diesel fuel AND ethanol free gas. Glad I stopped!
