Southern General is something that the small town of Arab, AL needed well before the proprietor opened it. While the clothing selection is primarily focused on men, the unique gifts, beer, wine, and snacks are something that everyone can enjoy. They also carry a huge selection of grooming supplies, with quite a few that are great for the ladies in our lives. The blue jeans and khakis that they carry are the most comfortable pants that I have ever put on. My Groove Life belt that I purchased here is amazing and exceptionally comfortable. If you haven't stopped in, swing by for great merchandise and exceptional customer service.

Went in with my husband for his shaving supply needs & found myself the best scented solid shave soap named 'Savannah Sunrise'. It smells like 🍑 heaven. Yes, this a men's store BUT this shave soap made the top spot on my favs list after one use! The owner was also super nice & helpful. Now I see why my hubby drives 40 minutes to go there versus anywhere else!

The gentleman ran the store was amazing. He knew his stuff on the beers that he sold. And gave us an excellent excellent selection of local Brews. The store look awesome on the inside tons of wonderful things to look at and purchase. Definitely going to come back for me or in the area.

Had the pleasure of visiting the Southern General while in Arab, Alabama. What a perfect store for men, or those that love them. Various items like jeans, boots, hats, beard balm, jerky, and brew. One stop shop for any man that is looking for that perfect casual outfit to a fancy bowtie. Will definitely be back to visit when back in Alabama. Picked up some beard balm among other items while there and well the name says it all in my opinion.

Great place to rent a tux and shop for your man. Beard butter, watches, shirts, socks and a whole lot more go check them out. You will be greeted with southern hospitality. My son and I were very pleased.

The best store in arab, the people that work there were very nice and were very knowledgable about there stuff. I spent a half a hour talking to the guy working there about knives etc. The selection they had there from beer to beef jerky to beard items. Most of there stuff was nicely hand made and local. All of their stuff there was unique aswell.

Need a gift for a man? you will find something here. So much more than clothing. Great selection and fun accessories.

Great little shop. Totally unique and didn't expect to find that in Arab. I could have spent all day and WAY too much money there.
