Looking for the beat of the best look no further. Imported meats and cheese from around the world. Amazing pastries and in the back you can get fresh mad sausage. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that always have a smile when you walk in . They have fresh organic produce and a alcohol aisle. And the beat part for me that is the except EBT food stamps as a form of payment . Great place to step out of the norm.

Great meat n Deli departments, drive 15 miles for their sausages. My favorite are the Ghost pepper sausage! With some eggs for breakfast mm mmm mmm....

I'm new to the area & stumbled upon this treasure. This place is AMAZING. Its my favorite store. The food is high quality. The staff is friendly and attentive. Im a regular already.

Stopped here for lunch because I heard their deli sandwiches are amazing, and I can verify, great sandwiches. What really blows me away is their deli department and their extensive selection of imported and rare cheeses. They also make traditional deli dishes in the store daily, including a stuffed bell peppers, lasagna, and stuffed grape leaves. A superb Italian deli and grocery store.

The deli has a little bit of everything, but the sandwiches are pretty good on a very good Dutch Crunch Bread they make fresh everyday order it with all the fixing and eat it there or take to go. Must try BBQ tip sandwiches made fresh outside.

If you desire great meats, this is the place to go. From steaks, seafood and speciality cuts! Produce is top tier and the baking goods are always unique and delicious. I highly recommend you give this store a tour. You will not leave without a purchase, promise!

Had to make a unplanned run down to Bakersfield to rescue a couple of lead sled bellywhoppers that are being held hostage by the Pinkertons, but gotta eat first.
Hector wanted Mexican but I told him he just had it, so we're going to a nice Italian Delicatessen...and Podesta's is the place when you're in Stockton, because there's nothing better! The food was Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Love the meat department at Podesto's, always a great variety of fish and meats and the quality and service is excellent!

Went to the bakery to find a birthday cake. Podesto's always has a great selection of not only cakes but pastries, cookies, and other sweets. Always reliable and great selection.

A really great place to shop. It's has a great selection of items, and its meat, deli, and bakery departments are the best in Stockton.

They also serve cold and hot food in their deli department. Sandwiches and salads are freshly made on order. They have tables and chairs both inside and out if you wish to dine on site.

This store is exceptionally clean and well stocked. Everyone is helpful and nice.

Ordered the roast beef on dutch crunch. It was delicious! The entire sandwich had tons of flavor. When you walk in you need to fill out a slip, and when you are called you hand in your order. Easy and quick!
