Giant Food

This location and parking lot is always super packed. Aisles are usually very clean and there’s always a rep close by to help. They have great specials and I love the international food options here. There’s usually a security guard in the front as well

When I entered the store this young man Tiven (sp) approached me and asked me if I would be using the motorized cart I told him I had never done so before. He encouraged me to at least give it a try. He said it is not that difficult. He showed me how to use it and how to get in. I am glad I listened to him as it resulted in my doing something new and I really enjoyed it. He was a tremendously joyful young man. He checked on me before I left the store. I am physically challenged and he gave me a new experience and a fun day.

Well, many 'moons' ago, when a wee-lad, we just moved in Laurel and i used to play around in the dirt with my Army men, as they were first constructing Giant.
Since it's been countless years since my last visit, i just had to go in and take a good look around. WOW!

(And it was a 'legitamate' excuse to grab some 'munchies' as well!). ; )

Pickup service is very good. The employees are always friendly and hekpful.

I frequently visit the store because it is near my home. Today was a very special visit because the lady assisting me, the cashier, I believe her name was Paula, was amazing. She was patient and kind. She was helpful and concerned. It’s rare that you find cashiers that are still nice to customers despite how many people they see therefore I really believe that I will continue coming back to the store because of Paula. For her to be so young for such a kind heart it’s a beautiful gift.

The store had everything I needed today except for eggs because everywhere are sold out of them. If it weren’t a snow storm coming, everything would be stocked full. Today was the exception but the staff did a great job of trying to keep the store clean and loading up what they had in boxes as soon as they could.

This is a message to the Laurel store manager: Thank you for displaying our beautiful flag inside the store. We need to see more of that every where. Blessings.

Overwhelming variety of groceries and other things, clean, well organized

I recently switched to this Giant. There are about 5 or more large kudos I have for this store. The best of all is the self checkout area. They have more than enough registers and only one person handles problems, questions and customer flow. BUT they do this quickly, efficiently and are always beyond friendly! I've seen this with every staff person I've seen working in this area. am loving this store!

It's fine for a grocery store, only place I have found that clearly labels what items are WIC covered. Makes WIC shopping SO much easier.

I use the Giant pickup order frequently, and they are so great! They communicate missed items and provide all around great service. It’s such a huge help for me to be able to do the grocery pickup option since I’ve got two young children and work full time.

Gloria, was my cashier. Excellent cashier!! Friendly, always have a smile, and she can move the groceries with easy and confidence in what she is doing.

Has everything I need and prices are reasonable

Overview: This Giant is located in a great place. There is a lot of competition (Safeway, Harris teeter, 2 Shoppers, and a Super Walmart) around but Giant beasts them all.

Prices: They always have the lowest and most reasonable prices. If you don't have a giant rewards card you're missing out.

Service: The cashiers and all the other staff members are very friendly and knowledgeable about the store and what they keep in stock.

Sanitation: They store is very clean. Floors are always shiny and to this day I have never seen a spill or a speck of dirt.

Cons: The only thing I don't like about this store is the Bakery counter. Don't get me wrong the baked good are delicious. But I have been there many things and 15/20 times there was no one there to assist me.

Clean, pristine and pristine laid out! Love the amount of options they had available. Vegan options, pre mades, and healthy hands were all in one vicinity. For those of us that travel in a regular. This is an amazing gem to find! Staff was polite, the bathrooms were clean. The checkout was a breeze.

I really enjoy shopping at this Giant and will bypass the one closer to me in order to come here. The folks who work here have always been kind and helpful. The foods I am looking for are readily available even for last minute holiday dishes. Beside the food variety, they also carry many diverse ethnocentric products as well. Very thoughtfully done. The store is well kept and has an overall positive and friendly atmosphere.

The Giant Food app is great!!! I love the digital coupons and the freebies that let me try new items throughout the year. My Fairlawn Giant has a lot of nice employees that I have come to know over the years and the sales are great in addition to my digital coupons. Stores always clean and organized.

Good food, better selection than some other grocery stores. Reliable layout makes it easier to find things.

I wish they had the 10 pack of chimmiechugas

Hi I have to say there shelfs are better stocked then weis , Safeway and I really don't do shopper's, food lion. There staff is friendly and helpful and the deli thumbs up they know how to slice meat the way you want it ! ! Good sales this week

Pleasantly surprised at the courtesy of all customers, all workers and checkers, a " head counter" at front door to keep down crowding, shelves fully stocked on all ailes. Really nice to be able to be able to leave store having obtained needed items.
