Calleva Farm Store & Office

The Calleva Farm Store is such a gem and the food is really good! So fresh. If you get there around opening time the bread is still warm! Everything we've bought there is delicous. With the current pandemic I also like that only one person/family at a time can go in.

A really nice place to visit. They can teach you how to Kayak, Mountain climbing, Bike riding, Rafting, Zip lining so much to do. They also have in the mouth of October
Markoffs Hunted Forest and The Town. A really fun place.

Nice clean store with super nice staff

While exploring a few historic sites in Germantown and Gaithersburg, I stopped by historic Poolesville. It's a little strip of over two dozen old buildings many of them restored into local businesses. One of the more intriguing buildings looks like a general store It's the Calleva Farm Store. It's a small farm store with a self-service check out (talk about honor system!). They sell local chocolate, coffee beans, jams, drinks and produce. It's such a fun experience! I spent $3 on two delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies!

Tried the Papousa last week. They were great. I hope you keep them around. And of course the cranberry walnut bread is terrific.

I didn’t like calleva at all. I went there on a school trip and almost all of the boys in my grade got a skin rash under their neck after they woke up in the morning. Everyone in the grade got eaten alive by bugs. Everyone had at least 10 to 15 bites. I didn’t find the experience fun and wouldn’t want to come back.
