My first visit. I was shocked that every employee actually spoke to me. It was great. Even had a lady employee call someone she knew to ask a question that I had. Very impressive! Had another employee heard us from a distance and came right up to help. I was almost in shock. Lol!
I was high impressed with their customer service. Can not say enough good about my visit.

Just spoke with Payton over the phone to have pine straw delivered to my house and she was very professional, extremely nice and helpful. She scheduled the delivery of the pine straw for this afternoon. Great service Ace!! Thank you so much!

Love their garden shop! Bernice and Donna always take care of you and Bernice is super knowledgeable on all her plants. You can also find hardware here that the big box stores don't carry.

Nice small hometown hardware and garden center store. Best prices in town for vegetable plants vegetable seeds. Have about anything you could need hardware related. Associate's are helpful and friendly. Have pool supplies as well. Prices are reasonable. Easy to get in and out

Old fashioned customer service at its best.During the most recent hurricane, the staff at Ace Hardware was extremely helpful and patiently answered all my questions. I purchased a generator there. I love the fact that you can phone and have a “real person “answer your call. Will be my go to hardware store now even though I have a big box hardware store less that 5 minutes from my home.

Excellent and expert service! I needed a new storm door handle to replace a decades old recently broken latch. I proceeded immediately to Ace to see if they had something that help. After a prompt and friendly greeting from the staff who inquired how they could help, I showed them the broken lock. They located the exact same model that I needed instantly. I spent less than 3 minutes and left with exactly what I needed, for $20! I highly recommend them as your first stop for any and all hardware needs!

Ace is and always will be the place! Small town vibes and they have everything the larger chains will have. Bernice gives the best advice for plant care and usually has some unique plants in her selection.

Extremely helpful. Best selection of air filters I've seen. I'd have to go to two different Lowe's stores to get all three for my house.

I was searching for a Christmas Tree that Ace Hardware sells and not one store in Raleigh or anywhere close to Raleigh had the tree I wanted in stock. It had to be ordered. No store even had one in the store to view. I found the tree in Tarboro and decided to take a road trip. I found the tree I wanted and also something else for my yard. Just wanted to thank the employees for being so nice, friendly, and helpful. It was worth the drive because I found what I wanted and I felt good making my purchase at a store that values its customers. Thank you!

This is Tarboro's One Stop and Shop for all of your Home Needs. They are very helpful and reliable. I've been going to them for almost a year so far and every time I've been helped and pleased with the level of service I received.

We ordered on line from another town and drove 30 minutes to get there and the item we ordered was waiting at customer service with no issues.
