Store in good location and well stocked. Bring your own bags and a flashlight if you ar going after dark because the parking lot is not well lit.

On yelp store hours is listed as closing at 2 o’clock. It is open till 8:00 PM, I do believe.
Everyone’s very nice, the store is clean, and a good variety of food.

If you want to buy quality food for a descent price then you'll want to shop at Save A Lot in St. Genevieve. This is the cleanest grocery store I've shopped in. The people are friendly, the store is clean, the fruit and vegetables are fresh, pretty & crisp and the meat I buy from them is fresh and delicious when cooked . The prices are out-of-this-world , 5 packs of meat for $25 you can't beat these prices. They have lots to choose from. The store is not too big so easy to walk through and their shelves are stocked , they carry name brand along with others. I took my two year old grandson with me who was heard thru out the store and everyone just smiled at us. This is my favorite place to buy my groceries and I give it two thumbs up and recommend you come check it out for yourself .

Save-A-Lot has all the grocery items I need at affordable prices. The store is easily navigated to find what you need. The customer service is also very nice and the employees help out when they can. All of the items are there with cheap prices. They are also very clean.

Great store owned by great folks. Anything negative here is an outright lie. The owners work hard to run a friendly community driven store and in my opinion, have one of the best Save a Lot stores in Southeast Missouri.

UPDATE—Save-A-Lot won’t be closing after all. A new owner is taking over.

I am sorry to report this Sav-A-Lot will be closing permanently in early July 2021. I have enjoyed shopping at Sav-A-Lot for many many years since moving to Ste. Genevieve in 1991. I am happy to report I was wrong. A new owner has been announced and the store will remain open.

Nice people cheap price and good place to shop.

Best for meat deals and they normally have the best bacon with a nice thick cut lately they seem to be cutting back on the amount of bacon they put in a pack. Better than any other grocery store in town

The prices are very good & the weekly sales are so good, I can stock up on them. The line to check out is never too long, and the ppl that work there are very helpful.

There's a lot more options now and I always find what I need. The cashiers are always very friendly to me and my daughter 💕
