Common Grounds Coffee House and Cafe

A very nice local cafe in the middle of the town let me start my day with a great cup of cappuccino and a really good avocado bacon toast. Also I can recommend the southwest wrap.

The scones are unfortunately not that great in my opinion.

The service is super friendly and everything was just perfect. I highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch.

Nice coffee shop in the heart of historic downtown. Prices are great in relation to the size of the coffee cups. It's like getting a Vente at Starbucks for the price of a tall.

Decent seating but I can see this being a challenge when the shop peaks at times.

Hubby bought two cups of plain coffee and was a bit confused about which carafes were plain but the people behind the counter straightened him out. He said both coffees were hot and not bitter.
Thanks for giving these people a chance at employment and interacting with the public. Both parties benefit!

I LOVE the message of this place. Giving hope and employment for those with special needs. The staff did a terrific job filling our order, and boy did their muffins and coffee hit the spot on a cold rainy day. They were knowledgeable of their menu and the food was delicious! We will be back for lunch another day as that menu looks terrific as well. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

This is a great place to get a cup of coffee and a light snack, wrap or small salad while in Sainte Genevieve. This is a cozy coffee shop that does a good job with incorporating a few workers with disabilities into their business model in a positive way. Everyone is super friendly that works there and tries to make your visit great.

Open early at 6am weekdays and serve a tasty ham and egg breakfast, among other selections. Coffee varieties were great, too!

We love local coffee shops but love the story behind Common Grounds even more. 90% of their staff have special needs and they're all about serving up inclusion one cup at a time.

Lovely decor. The iced caramel latte with oat milk was pleasant with a nice nutty flavor. Very relaxing.

Nice and very helpful people. My doctor has decaffeinated me. They introduced me to a good organic decaffeinated coffee if there is such a thing. LoL. They really helped me out.
