King Kullen

Big spacious aisles, not claustrophobic. Cheeze is expensive. Save a buck or two per pound on cheese at Foodtown in Hewlett. It was my 3rd time in the spacious King Kullen, and I was loving it, but price may take a priority.

My first time since I got back from Neptune, so it's been a long time since I bought a bag of mixed greens, thoroughly washed, ready to eat, so salad shouldn't be a punishment if you don't have to wash and dry it. Lots of similar bags, I took the first bag of Spring Mix that jumped out at me. I get it home, and it's mostly ok, but some of it is starting to wilt pretty bad. Shades of disintegrating into slime.

So, what did I (re)learn today? When you go for a bag of pre-washed salad things, check the "Use By" date. Today is Aug 26, and the bag's Use By date is Aug 26. I'll bet that if I "leafed" through the bags, I could have found one with a later Use By date. Next time.

Nice produce big selection. I work midnights so it was convenient it's open 24 hours so I got to go right after work. My only issue is they did not carry beef liver so I had to go to another supermarket to get that. But I'm sure most people don't eat liver so you could care less. Also the fish department wasn't open. But most supermarkets fish markets are not open early. Other than that I will definitely go back again.

I didn't realize they have a pretty good selection of organic vegetables, chicken and more. Not sure when they started stocking these, but I find it more convenient (and cheaper) to go here than the original healthy markets (Trader Joe's, Wild by Nature). Plus its much larger, easier to get in and out, and larger selections.

Nice and clean and self-check out is usually fairly quick. I also like that it’s open 24 hours. $5.99 sushi after 3pm is a good deal too! Bread is always fresh and delicious!

Jeffrey Burns was by far my favorite manager there. Seth and Scott in the seafood department are also both awesome and George in the Deli department is great. Vinny is my favorite cashier and there are a lot of other good people here. It's a very good supermarket. Overpriced, but good.

Very Clean Comfortable Shopping

People are very helpful. Even if their busy, they actually stop, and will walk you to the item that I couldn't find.
I have shopped here for MANY years. And will continue to do so.
One more thing, the cold cuts area. I have trouble with my voice, EVERYONE working that area, are so kind & patient. And, they ALWAYS have a smile and a thank you.
They deserve a raise. King Kullen your the best.

Clean, neat and well-organized. The produce is fresh and their deli section is very modern. You can order from a kiosk and they announce over the loudspeaker when your order number is ready.

Just a beautiful well kept and friendly store. The produce and bakery departments are terrific as well as the other fresh food departments (deli and fish). Hope it remains that way, do you hear that Stop & Shop?

Shout out to the bakery! Ordered a Super Mario kart cake for my son. Unfortunately when the baker came in to make it she realized she did not have the kit. She hand decorated the cake with tons of marioesque hand drawn items. Though it was not the cake he was expecting he was super happy with it.

i went today (12/31/17) around 1:30pm and parking wasnt too, too bad getting there. However, there WERE alot more people inside! lol Getting out was a little tough but I managed it 👌. Becareful in the parking lot people and have a Happy New Year!!

The bakery dept looks beautiful all decorated for the holidays the cases and glass are spotless love the people their friendly and helpful and the bake goods delicious can't wait for my B-Day Cake yummy🎂

A little pricey but very convenient location and hours. The fresh vegetables section is good and consistent, but the bunches of kale are way too big.

Refreshing - Large, open isles. Good bakery and efficient cashiers. Very convenient hour. Could be the best "local grocery store" in the area

Nice clean store. Friendly staff. Even friendlier hours. Open 24 hours Monday thru Friday. Until midnight Saturday's and 10pm sundays.

Good, clean supermarket. Watch out for the drivers when you park, people make up their own spots and don't care what they do with the carts and doors.

Open 24/7 daily, who has time? you ask, thank them because they do it just for you. This supermarket never dissapoints, it has everything you need.
