The cashier was absolutely the most friendly cashier I have delt with in a long time. She was quick and very efficient. The store overall was pleasant and stocked with what I was looking for. Thank you Gateway IGA !

I been goin too this are where this store is for years an it's always been a lil grocery store that isn't like ur average foodcity Kroger's Wal Mart type grocery store that known but this store has good deals

By far the most honest team I've dealt with. I walked in and asked for a whole country ham cut. The gentleman said that the ham he had in stock was aging and a little tough. He said it would be great for ham and beans but that is it. I live in Indiana and he could have easily let it slide but by being honest with me he gained a customer for life.

Great grocery store. Wonderful owner very caring about customers. The cashier's are just so nice and friendly. They'll help you out with anything. The store is excellently clean and the public bathroom.👍👍👍❤❤❤❤

Love this place.Roger the owner has a clean,nice,store and is always on the floor working and helping customers and assisting his staff as needed.Feels like family there Pleasure to be treated by the friendly staff and visit with them each time.

Why is it that everyone seems to want to compare gateway to Walmart?
There is no comparison! Gateway has the friendliest and most helpful staff hands down in all of Roane County!
Roger and Mary and all of the staff provide the best hospitality and they care about you as a customer!
They are a small business and You should care about them the way that they care about you! Try finding a manager, much less OWNER walking around the store and actually working and saying hello and how are you today! The meat department is far superior to Walmart and Glen will cut anything you want, the way you want it!
I have been shopping at gateway faithfully for over 16 years and will not buy meat anywhere else!
Gateway grocery store is a fine example of what a store should be!
Oh, and I don’t have to check myself out because of 40 checkout lanes and no cashiers either! I commend gateway and the service that they provide to this community, they remind me of the way America used to be instead of what it has become! You don’t get the credit you deserve! If u think shopping at Walmart is a better experience then you should stop and smell the roses once in a while and you would see that there is no comparison! Gateway Rocks!

Great staff and sales. Produce can be a little high but the extra cash is worth the quiet time when you shop. I always go for one thing and leave with a cart full. Sometimes twice a day!! When it comes to a homegrown local grocery store, IGA is as good as homegrown tomatoes!🍅🍅🍅🍅

My favorite store. When I come to Rockwood I hit it up every time get great deals love the staff workers excellent very friendly and helpful

I do my groceries shopping here every month. They have great deals, like the "Pick 5" where you choose 5 items from their available options and only pay $20 for them all. Helps out a lot when you are feeding a family of 5.

Love this store, even though some prices mat be alittle higher than other stores, it's our hometown grocery store, it's always clean, and the workers are always really nice and ready to help!!! And Mary and Roger are the best!!!

7:00 AM, the morning before Thanksgiving. I’ve been sick for two weeks and dread the last minute shopping. Everything will be sold out, right? Wrong. My friendly IGA had everything in its place, with most Thanksgiving items at a reduced price. And the restroom was sparkly clean.(yeah, still a little sick)

For some time this store has been my go to for meat. They have a butcher and really great roasts. This is a small town grocery with big service. Yay IGA!

I can almost always find what I need here. When the competition had empty shelves during the big quarantine the IGA had what I needed!! It's small but great!
