This store is great. The people that work here are always helpful. They will tell you just how much to buy based on your needs, and how to cook it. They have always been spot on. I don't eat a lot of meat, but when I want something special I always come here.

Ours is a common family story: been coming here for many years because it's simply the best, (and we've sampled numerous others in the area). The new management didn't skimp at all on quality, and actually raised the level of customer service, imo. Bill was very helpful in finding a winning recipe for the fresh Thanksgiving turkey we ordered last week. Ask about their seasonings for roasting.

Been going to Gem meats for the past few years. Exceptional butchery. Their pork chops, pork butts, spencer steaks and jerky behind the register...all delicious. This evening I grilled their thick cut pork chops seasoned with the minnesota state fair chop seasoning. I'm in a food coma now. Best meats in town.

My absolute favorite place to buy meat. I've been coming here since my dad used to take my brother and I 20+ years ago to pick out our own steaks (love the Spencers) and I've been happy with everything I've ever had. Even the smell of the place when I walk in brings back great memories. Love their salsa they keep at the front on ice too! If you're looking for a piece of quality meat definitely give Gem a try.

The quality of the meats is fantastic, however, I had a problem with the handling of raw meats without groves & then slicing my deli-meats (also w/o gloves) without washing their hands. Very unsanitary I believe.

best quality meat, fish, & deli selections. they have amazing sandwiches & baked potatoes to heat up at home. they sell turkey, duck, bison, veal, goat & chorizo. great selections and great staff too.

Started shopping at Gem just before Christmas last year. I was looking for a prime rib. Bought a small cut to take home which feed five to test it out. Reasonably priced and tasted fabulous. For Christmas, I doubled up and the cut was a hit with the crowd. Been shopping there once a week ever since. They give you suggestions on new cuts they get in, the staff is always friendly and accommodating, and I highly recommend shopping here supporting local businesses.

I got my holiday bird here the last few years. Fair pricing, excellent quality, good service. If you are a meat lover this place is like Disneyland.

The guys over there are friendly and helpful, it takes me back to how butcher shops used to be. They even offered to season the meat I bought. I have been to this store many times now and get excited to go there every time. The meat is so tender and tasty and the service awesome, I can't recommend it highly enough.

I love this place. Their meatloaf mix is THE BEST. I order 3 pounds and always have leftovers for sandwiches. Also love their teriyaki beef kabobs and the chicken breasts. I cook the chicken breasts in the oven with a little olive oil, salt and pepper and they are always flavorful, nice and juicy. You can also call ahead and they will cook anything for you. I usually order a rotiesserie chicken and it's always great. No need to wait in Costco lines for one. The guys that work there are awesome! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Recent Discovery, 45 Years in Business, Beautiful meats, limited groceries, produce, sauces, +++ more. They will even roast meat for you. Great Sausages, Bratwurst, want to try Italian. Yummy ,,BBQ all beef kabobs,,. Want to try Teryaki too.
Give This Place A Try!!! Not Cheap, but Quality.

First time customer. Bought some double cut pork chops and bone-in ribeye steaks. Both cuts of meat were exceptional. Cooked the double cut chops on my Traeger and the ribeyes on my Santa Maria grill using hickory wood. The meat was USDA Choice but was on par to Prime cuts that I have purchased from other high end butchers. Definitely coming back.

Gem Meats has the finest cuts of the highest grade of meats. This is not a cheap meat market. This is a high-end meat purveyor. I almost always get their bone-in ribeyes and ground beef. They have a small selection of seafood as well as a large selection of pork and deli meats and cheeses. They also offer some produce and dairy as a matter of convenience. Gem Meats has been a family staple in my life for more than 30 years!

We have had consistent good quality meat and excellent customer service from Gem. They have cooked meat for our barbecues then we just pick it up. They will even cook chicken or what ever you want for you. It is a great source if you are doing a small dinner party or a large event they will make it happen and you will look like a star.

Best stuffed pork chops ANYWHERE! Today, due to a loose wire in my car, I fell in their parking lot. The butcher voluntarily put a bag of ice for me to put my hands on to help the pain and swelling. Great food, but, greater man than helped a stranger.

I have been going here for 20 years since college. Best Meats around and Half the price of El Toro Meats with the same friendly guys that have been there for years. Also try their beef jerky, it is a must for a snack on the way home.

Everyone I go to Gems the service is great and the meat is of the highest quality. The butchers are very helpful, I needed 20 pounds of pork butt cut off the bone and cubed and the guys did it without blinking an eye. I will continue to buy me meat and fish from Gems.
