BSW Beauty - Mitchellville

I called 4 other beauty supply stores to find what I call "black hair liquid gold" which was the Shea Moisture Yogurt Protein treatment that I mix with the Makuna Honey Masque. They were the only ones to carry it in the area!!! Not your typical beauty supply store, staff are genuine and personal.

This is my new favorite Beauty Supply. The employees are very friendly and helpful. They don’t act like you are a walking virus (coronavirus) when you enter and while shopping. They speak to you and actually take the time to ask if you need assistance. I’ve been to so many Beauty Supply stores where they dont even speak to you or ask if you need help finding something. No manners what so ever. They act like “you need them”, when really, it’s the other way around. They need us! They need our business and coins, so they could try to keep their business open. Since it seems like they don’t realize that, I’m going to help them (Beauty 4 you- in Largo MD) by taking ALL of my business down the street to BSW Beauty from now on. 😆

Staff always speaks when you come in and genuinely offers help if you need anything unlike some places. They know their inventory very well and I do not believe they've ever not had what I was looking for.

The store was organized and the staffs were helpful. I will def.go back to purchase more.

One of the staff members was very helpful. The cashier sits in an area where she blends in and is hard to see.

I got into this store without wearing my mask since it's no longer mandatory in MD and the attendant accused me of not wearing one. I told her it's no longer mandatory and she said it's mandatory as per the store policy which I don't have a problem with however not only was her tone rude, she was practically going to force me to buy one from them. She also said I don't have to shop at their store. I find this very rude. I still shoped there after picking my mask from the car and the only reason I shopped there was because I didn't want to drive another mile. Will I go there again? No. Why? Because I'll be following her advice not come shop there again.

I think customer service is a key factor in having a successful business. Common Guys, it's not even hard to be respectful.

no matter how many times I come in here, I’m always followed. There’s NO reason why I’m coming into a store to pay for stuff and get treated like a criminal until I walk up to the counter. There are other beauty supply stores up and down Central Ave that have a WAY better selection than what they have.
