The Wine & Cheese Place

This store has a wonderful variety of wine and cheese (if not obvious from the name) but also an excellently deep assortment of craft beer, liquors, mixers, aperitifs, and other specialty items for craft cocktails.

They had what I was looking for: Salume bedu, cheese, Scotch and beer. We had a limited amount of the beer I wanted so they called their other stores and reserved some for me to pick up. Great customer service.

I had a great experience with the Wine and Cheese place. Ordered a larger order over the phone and they kept in constant contact with me and were able to fulfill a specific request. Great customer service and pricing is extremely fair.

Nice selection, would of really liked to find a clamato but the cheese and crackers made up for it.

Best place for wine, beer and spirits. Oh yea they have cheese too! There are a surprising amount of staff who all have their strong suits. This new store is huge which means there's even more than before. I am noticing lots of new stuff that I want to try now!

I had a guy back home that taught me about cheese from behind the counter of his wine and cheese shop, when I was a young man; then I moved here. The staff has always been knowledgeable and friendly at my Midwest find. The multiple locations they now have are a treat, as I can usually find one near by if I need a fix of the finest things in life. This is where I've gone to get top shelf: liquor, wine, and cheese for a couple decades now. One of the many bright and shining jewels of life in St Louis. I'm new to the little ones (the original, across from the Ritz, was bigger by a lot and my first) and, I find them to be less overwhelming while still being resplendent with fun things to find. This place just keeps getting better. Just lovely.

The best customer service and a large selection of rare/different whiskey from around the world. It's unfortunate they're only able to ship locally, but if you're around St. Louis and searching for something unique, give this place a look. Highly recommended!

The best place in town for adult beverages as the selection and prices are tops.

This is my go to shop for wine, bourbon, and beer. Their knowledge and direction on wine selection is spot on. Never disappointed. Their selection of bourbon is one of the best in StL. Their beer section is small, but most impressive. If you are looking for something special, this is your place.

This is the best place in town to buy wine, liquor, and cheese. Not only are prices equavalent or often less expensive than Total Wine, the staff is very friendly and incredibly helpful. The manager, Cole, is outstanding in his ability for customer support. I'll always shop there before other stores. I haven't been to the Clayton location but the Manchester store is without peer.

I have shopped at this store on two occasions. Once while they were closed to in-store visits because of the pandemic and and again just after they reopened for in-store shopping. Both times I placed my order in advance online and I was very impressed by the large selection of wine and liquor. In particular they carry a brand of whiskey that I find difficult to locate and they also carry nigori sake which I have trouble locating. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The Wine & Cheese Place will be my go-to for wine and liquor, and I look forward to exploring all the other interesting items they have to offer!

As with the other Wine & Cheese Place locations, the staff here really know their stuff and are eager to have their customers be happy with their purchases. Great selection of specialty cheeses, crackers, and other "party snack" items. Their prices on most wines and spirits are competitive with the St. Louis market.

Best local chain for spirits and gourmet foods in greater St Louis. Usually several very good bottles of wine open and various cheeses available for sample. Great cheese and bulk candy selection; they roast their own nuts, too.

Prices are very reasonable and if they don't have it, you don't want it...

Fantastic cheese and wine selection. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Customer service was really good. Gorgeous baskets and fresh roasted nuts. Margie at Manchester store knows her cheese.

I've lived in the area for a while and only recently wandered into this place. I'm more of a beer drinker but I was pleasantly surprised with their selection of local beers, especially those I can't find in most other stores like 2nd Shift and Modern. Make sure you check out the cooler too because you may find some beers that aren't on the shelf.

I suppose compared to the other locations, this is as good. I feel like other sites have more extensive collections, but this had everything we could want and more.

We asked for help locating a bottle of wine and the employee was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Prices better than sams club!

It's a great mix of snacks, beer, wine, cheese and spirits. The staff is friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to ask, if you can't find something. They have several other stores they can check with.
