I brought in my old Snapper riding mower whose gears were not functioning properly. This was repaired at an excellent price and was also told that the engine was surging and needed carb work.
An after-market carb was located and now it runs as well as the day I bought it.
You can't beat the service and the intent to do the job at the lowest price.
