Very knowledgeable staff, and got everything I needed for my mead. Their in-house brewing was a great way to learn, and ask any questions I had. A great event to check out.

Blessed to have this store nearby for Kombucha brewing. They are well stocked, reasonably priced and super knowledgeable.

If you are in need of anything for a beer/mead/wine project, don't hesitate to give them a shot. They carry a wide variety of supplies and ingredients and will special order for you as well if you're looking for something rare that they do not stock. I have been making mead and beer for almost 10 years now and they have been my go to the entire time. Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, they do not disappoint.

VERY reasonable prices and broad inventory. The sales clerk was friendly, very knowledgeable, helpful, and suggested additional supplies without being pushy. I'll definitely be back!

These guys helped me build and purchase my first brewing kit when I was 21 years old. I will always have great memories of this store, especially back when it was off of route 83. My only regret is not learning to brew sooner! Beautiful new store. High Energy. Right in downtown Villa Park - helping bring glory to an old small town. Don't care for the More brewery next store, too many hipsters. But that's a story for another time.

I really had a great experience here. I am a newby mead maker. The gentleman that was helping me was incredibly helpful and plenty knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make sure that my first brewing experience would be successful and enjoyable. He also suggested a few items that could help me, but I at no point felt like he was trying to up-sale (which is a really fine line and I appreciated that). I wish mead didn't take so long to age so that I had an excuse to stop by here again!

This is a quality brew shop. They have pretty much everything you could possibly need to brew beer or make wine at home. They offer curbside pickup, which is very nice in the time of Covid-19. The owners and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Also, their new location is much nicer than the old one. Shop here for all you beer wine and homemade soda needs!

I love this place! They have an impressive selection of equipment and ingredients to make some tasty brews with. And the gentleman working there is very knowledgable. His advice has been very helpful as I am getting my foot in the door of homebrewing. It is wonderful having a place like this so close to home. I haven't bought supplies online since I found this place and with their fair prices and awesome staff, I see no reason to anytime soon. Thanks for being there and doing what you do!

I have several shops that I go for to get my brewing supplies. Winemakers prices are relative to the other shops, but what continuously brings me back to this Winemakers time and time again is the customer service. The people who work at this store aren't pretentious beer/wine snobs who will look down at noobs or make you feel uncomfortable for not knowing something. You can feel free to ask any questions no matter how basic and you'll get straight answers. The owner of this store has gone out of his way many times to help make sure that I have successful brews. Not only is he knowledgeable but he's very helpful in the brew process and is willing to try your brews to tell you where it went wrong or how it went right.

I decided to write a review after my last interaction at this store. From the moment I walked in they are friendly and helpful. When I explained that I wasn't here for myself this time, but to get another family member involved in brewing over the holidays the owner took care of me, going as far as to write out a recipe for what will be a delicious holiday brew. I dig this place.

10/10 would shop again.

I have been buying from this shop for years and have found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I brew mostly beer and greatly appreciate the service and the ability to have my grains milled there. I have asked to have my grains double milled many times and have never had a problem..

I walked in when they opened at 10:00, and left at 10:07 according to my receipt, this is my first attempt to brew not using a kit, the guy asked to see my list he got everything I needed. Very happy, will definitely go back, it's 7 miles further then my regular place in the city well worth the trip, convenient parking right in front.

Great local shop with a wide range of home brewing products. Staff was very responsive & provided some helpful tips. Will be back again for more supplies in the future.

I have been coming here since they were on Route 83. I had someone start making wine this year for the 1st time and needed start up supplies. They could not have been more helpful. Great service!

Excellent locally owned business. The owners are very knowledgeable about brewing beer and give great advice when you’re shopping. Selection is well curated and has most everything you need.
