Price Chopper

Always have product in stock. Decent prices. But I wish they had those scanners so I can scan my groceries as I shop. It saves so much time and allows for faster checkout. Plus I'd rather not have a cashier touching everything I purchase.

Large Store. Very Good fried and rotisserie chicken. Good freshly fried fish as well. Nice selection of good bagels in the bakery.

Big store, stocked & the cleanest one I've been in, within the area, the past few months..

Finally tried the Online Ordering -
I have kids all the time, so it's been tough through the pandemic, to get in and out..
What a relief! It said 2 hours for delivery. My items, as I selected, were on my doorstep in a little over an hour! A great experience!!

I've already expressed my (and I'm sure many, MANY other customers as well) gratitude for the new(er), upgraded, modern bottle return machines.
They were MUCH NEEDED.
The supermarket could use a refreshing modernization though. But how P.C. uses their money is none of my business. LoL

Since you loved my stars... Ive been shopping at this price chopper around 20 years. It's always been clean, stocked, and has friendly and understanding employees. I have ocd and the cashier's are always patient with me when I'm organizing my items on the conveyor belt. They help make the experience a little easier for me when I have very high anxiety when it comes to this challenging adventure. Kudos to price chopper!

Price Chopper in Poughkeepsie NY is a great place to shop! They have deals for soda and juices alike. Just last night I was doing Uber Eats and saw the app was dying down so I ran in and grabbed my things I needed. The customers let me know where the cream cheese was and by the time I got to the cashier I was greeted by a great kid with a scar on his neck probably from a knife and he offered to use his advantage card so my groceries were cheaper! I thanked him and he was a great kid! I give this store 5 stars due to customer service and the people who shop there are great too!!

I’ve been shopping here at Price Chopper Poughkeepsie since I was child going with my parents. Now I go here by myself because I’m an adult now haha. I always loved to go shopping here. They have the freshest food around and just like every grocery store they do have coupons and other deals to help you save money. The one thing that I love about Price Chopper is when they fry Cod, Haddock, etc… it’s delicious with how fresh it tastes

I love this price chopper. It's right down the street from me and is really convenient. The people there are always friendly and mor than willing to help you find something or look for something that you're looking for. The cashiers are always kind and courteous and even though if use the self check out a lot when I go through the regular line it is always quick and efficient even late at night. I also like that they are open till 1am because it means when I get out of work at 11 I can still go to the store if I need to.

I had a very pleasant shopping experience today. I couldn't find an item, looking totally lost, and I was helped by a very friendly person. Also, I was having trouble at check-out. Another friendly worker came over to assist. P

Anyone know who the manager is at night time for the Poughkeepsie ny location ? He was stocking but so very patient and helpful! Such a nice guy with great customer service skills!

Very convenient shopping experience. Wide variety of products. very helpful customer service. Check out was a breeze, quite a few checkout lanes. Over all convenient location, great prices, clean and we'll organized supermarket.

I went to thank Dana, a manager from the Poughkeepsie store, for helping me to set up my price chopper account. For some reason it wouldn’t let me sign in to download any coupons and she happened to be walking by me in the store and I asked her for help. She was so helpful, patient, kind and caring. I regularly go to a gentleman in the fish department call Andrew but today he was off. I was impressed because the 2 gentlemen there did a magnificent job with shrimps and whiting fried my wife is very particular about too much spices we were very satisfied. Thank you

Always helpful. Veggies a bit over priced. Seafood Dept the best in town and they will fry, steam, cook it anyway u like it. Very clean and always a pleasure to do business with u.

Low on sale items,but generally one can find reasonable items,even if not on sale

Everything u want from a big retail store at a fraction of a price . Also groceries and pharmacy inside.
My wife loves this place .
