I just had an amazingly good experience with The Wine Cabinet. I called them shortly before Christmas to place an order for delivery before the holiday. Although they were already overbooked with pre-Christmas deliveries, Randy went above and beyond to figure out how to help me. It was as good a customer experience as I have ever had. Shout out to Steve Mosteiro. We just had a FABULOUS wine tasting with him. The education was next level and easy to comprehend with visuals/maps of each region. The wine selection was phenomenal and very different from bottle to bottle. We were lucky to have him come to our house and host this experience in the comfort of our own kitchen. The Wine Cabinet is a great resource for wines & great service and education in a down to earth fashion.

I've been a loyal customer of the Wine Cabinet for 17 years. The only way I can describe it, is as a gem tucked away in North Reston. Randy, Steve, and the rest of the staff are amazing. There's nothing in the store that isn't delicious. If you are buying your wine anywhere else you are missing the boat.

I love stopping by on Thursdays to try the wines on sale and get recommendations. If you sign up they will track what you buy so you can easily refer back to the good things you've bought before

This place is truly a gem. The staff and the management there are incredibly friendly, exceptionally knowledgeable, and always go out of there way to help however they can. There is a distinct, personal level of service there that you just don't seem to get at many places nowadays. The owner Rande is a great guy and really works to figure out your tastes and preferences. He then makes well informed recommendations based on your predilections and price point. Even though the store has a wide variety from which one can choose, they further seem to have a large network of suppliers and can order you that special bottle you have been seeking.

Lovely store and a great place to visit! The employees are very helpful and help out anyone from a wine novice all the way to a full-fledged oenophile. We fall on the novice side of this spectrum and always appreciate the staff taking the time to ask us about our preferences and helping steer us to the bottles that we might like. The store has a nice selection and has a small rack of beer/brews, port/fortified wines, and bubbly in the back. They also have a modest but nice selection of serving trays, bar accessories, and party supplies. All-in-all, we couldn't ask for anything more from our neighborhood wine store! Highly recommended!

Bustling wine shop with very helpful staff. Loved all of the selection and the wide range of gift baskets. Lots of fun wine accessories and a nice selection of craft beers. Easy to find something for anyone on your list. Really enjoyed our stop!

On several occasions and family gatherings, The Wine Cabinet, in particular Steve M., has been a tremendous help in navigating wine from all over the world in this welcoming, locally-owned shop in Reston. Whether you're looking for the perfect Merlot to pair with your upcoming dinner plans or wanting to learn more in general about how to shop for wine without having anything specific in mind, Steve is the guy to go to! He is an inspiring and passionate educator and I can 100% count on him to help me pick out a bottle of wine that I or friends/family will enjoy. My favorite part of shopping here is I always leave feeling more informed and appreciative of wine and its expansive culture.

Dave and the staff have always been super helpful! Everytime I have been in the store, Dave has come and greeted me and asked if he could help me find anything (as he did today). They always have a fresh shipment in of great beer, and always an excellent selction of wines. Dave goes above and beyond to make sure that each guest has a great experience. I highly recommend stopping by for all of your wine, beer, and other needs - you will certainly be well taken care of.

Great local wine store. They have a good selection of wines as well as a smaller assortment of craft brewed beer. The staff are friendly and will gladly answer questions. They have regular wine and beer tastings. The shop adds some nice local character to north Reston.

Outstanding local wine (and beer) store, that does more than just sell wine (and beer). Multiple weekly wine (and beer) tastings from a variety of vineyards (and brewers), and we’ve taken advantage of their monthly wine seminars, and their wine pairings dinners as well. Kate and Mike and their staff are super-friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Excellent source for wines of all regions & price points.Highly recommend getting on their email list - they have some terrific bargains! Unlike big box stores, they know wines & r great at suggesting pairings.tell them the menu & they'll make u look good w the wine!

The wine cabinet went above and beyond when I requested a wine delivery for a very important client of mine. They caught an error in the delivery address as well as went out of their way to try to get to the contact on time. Best wine shop in the area, without question. The staff is knowledgeable and as friendly as you could imagine. Excellent selection of wine, beer, and plenty of cheese to go with. Will return again (and again)!
