Goody Bassett's Ice Cream

I love this place, everyone else talking trash, have to grow up. Have been going here 15yrs never a problem. However I must say I has taken back a little with the new no sample policy. Love to try a flavor to gauge if a like it or not. Now I can't do this, don't know what happened, but it will unfortunately influence the way I buy ice cream moving forward.

It was a very friendly and nice experience. They have good flavors at low price. Have tea, coffee, shakes, and more. I suggest everyone to atleast visit this place once.

A quaint little shop! Owner were very friendly. I love hard dipped ice cream, the peach ice cream was heavenly. My son loved his cotton candy ice cream, he offered me a taste, and it was tasty. We bring the family here all the time, ever since we moved to Stratford. I recommend getting the White Russian ice cream in a shake. Go across the street to the liquor store to grab a nip of Vodka if it's cold outside. If you drop that in, it will warm you right up :) Don't go too late if you want to ensure you're able to get your favorites.

This ice cream has to be the best in CT. The place is very easy to miss, but it is worth stopping inside. I got the cotton candy ice cream it was rich and creamy. It is full of flavors that you have never heard of, and of course the flavors that everyone knows. I would highly recomend going here it is the best!

A delicious frozen taste of history. The staff is wonderful, the shop has an old fashioned ice cream parlor vibe. There are so many flavors to choose from!

The flavors are amazing and the homemade waffle cones hit the spot. The fact that they have ice cream for the dog is even better and they are set up on uber eats for those nights you need ice cream but can't get out of the house.

A hidden gem in Stratford. They have a good variety of flavors. My favorite are the coconut and cookies and cream. The ice cream is good and creamy and is open year round. Also, the building is a piece of Stratford history and inside they have old pictures of the town.

Had rum-rasin banana split the ice cream was delicious will be back often. 😋

I love this place! Their pistachio ice cream is out of this world! And the owner is such a nice person. Love going there even during the winter with the family... :-)

Tried this place yesterday . I like it . Most of the ice cream is made in house. Very thick and creamy and a good selection of flavors . Open all year too

The absolute best peach ice cream with hand made waffle cone ever I want another but the other ice creams looked delicious as well a hard choice next time I shop there.

Best ice cream in Stratford hands down!!! The homemade whipped cream is to die for!!! I highly recommend stopping by for a scoop or two!!!
