The Home Depot

The reason why I came to Home Depot was to find storage containers which end up being a great idea. Because when we arrived here, the storage containers, I was looking for, which was 27, gallons was on sale for $11.27.

I also come to Home Depot a lot and is always really nice because it's pretty quick service. There's plenty of people to help you. I really do enjoy this self-checkout right now. It has a portable scanner that allows you to scan large items that you can't scan on top. There's also someone there to assist you.

I came into this Home Depot with a large order of various products using my HD project loan account. To complicate this transaction even more, I needed to ship these items to Texas to my contractor that's remodeling our home. I got so lucky when customer service rep. "Stephanie" was on duty that afternoon. She was able to get all my items entered into the delivery system accurately, scan my temporary project loan card, and scheduled for shipping to Texas! Within 3 days of placing my order, items began arriving to my contractor!...Flawless! It's not often I walk into HD anxious, then walk out so grateful I was helped by a wonderful, competent employee like Stephanie.

Easy to find what you need but first open the app on your phone and type in what you need for easy information in which aisle it is , it saves time . After Covid prize are bit high with all the materials and tools like everywhere but you can still have them.

The Union City home Depot is a well run, clean, modern store, staffed with friendly team members. Was able to get in, find what I needed and get out reasonably quick.

***Update October 24th 2018***. it appears that this is quite a big store. Their garden selection is amazing. Whether you're a contractor or weekend warrior handyman there is nothing the store does not have that you could use for any project around your house or on the professional job site. Pro tip, if you're going to buy cabinets don't buy the stock cabinets that they keep in store, upgrade to a better quality cabinet or go somewhere else, the in-store cabinets are not very good. I purchased an store in stock cabinets when I get to the job there are sometimes broken and they just do not last, they're difficult to assemble, do yourself a favor and stay away pay the extra money and get a better quality cabinet.

Its very nice. This is one of the big place in the neighborhood.you will get all the items related home improvement.

Clean and helpful. Too many men wearing t-shirt, jeans and hats. Hahaha lost my Papa. Found him. Wearing a t-shirt, jeans and hat. 🤷🤣

Clean and organized. Help will come to you as opposed to waiting for someone to help you.
They have discounted lumber in one spot and all are marked properly.
The one Home Depot I don't mind stopping by even if I have nearby where I live.

This home depot is just like another home depot. Ample parking space, handicapped parking space, but no EV charging parking space. This home depot is very close to 880 freeway in the (east side) of San Francisco bay area. Close by Pep Boys, McDonald's, Panda Express, 24 hours Dennis, Target, Starbucks and ample restaurants are in walking distance. This parking lot is observed by the Union City PD unit which has plenty of camera units etc. This home depot has a garden section and every month 's 1st Saturday they conduct a kid's workshop between 9 am to noon and plenty of free workshop items for kids available. Pretty clean this home depot, including the restrooms.

This store is always crowded.
Generally they always have what you need.

Every Home Depot is pretty much the same no matter which store you visit. The store is well stock and organized and you almost can get everything you need to do any projects for your house at any budget. I gave Home Depot a five stars because I always can completed my project with one to two visits.

I went today and Daniel (yay same name!) Was very helpful. I was lost in the store and he was rearranging and putting stuff back making it look nice and when I asked where something was he took me right to it! A lot of home depot employees hide or run away but Daniel came through. Saw him on the way out and thanked him again just as he was helping another customer. Right on Daniel!

My favorite “Go-To” Hardware store! This place carry every bolt & nut known to man and every size available and tools you’ll ever need in your lifetime!

The HD folks talk through the return policy - of their customer service and quality. Worth the visit everytime and end up buying more like at Costco's.

My water heater died and I went to home depot to purchase another. Kudos to the wonderful man that helped me. He was respectful, patient, helpful and made sure I was getting the best product. He did all of this with a smile. Great experience!!! I

We have been to this store 5 times and we have always had the best experience, entire staff is super friendly and they go above and beyond to help us from selecting the paint colors to recommending us entire bathroom and kitchen supplies. Updating this review to give a shout-out to Chris (manager) here at Union City location, he was so helpful to us when we had a bad experience with the product that we bought. We live near Newark Home Depot but it has been 2 years we only come to Union City location to buy all our stuff and the credit goes to all the employees who work here which always make our experience a 5star one.

They have whatever you need for your home and this location has great customer service. I also like the self checkout option as most times I just need a few things. Highly recommend you give this location a try.

Brown worker had a hard time showing me where the lumber was. I did not get his name but it was quite annoying to say the least being lead around. He was nice though, so 5 stars.

I had a part I needed and one woman got two dudes on it. Had a team after it and they found it. I was thinking "it's gone". To almost walking out to "hang on now...". Glad they found it. All for a $0.02 rubber washer! No...

Abel in the Electrical Dept. was knowledgeable and helped me get the
GFCI Receptacle Tester that I needed.

This item is located in an area that is locked up so assistance is needed and
he had the key!
