The place is very cozy and clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful!
They carry a lot of new/popular books as well as some older/classics! I absolutely love this place as a local and I buy a book about once a month and will always choose this over places like Walmart/target.

BookPeople! Another Moscow downtown staple. This independent bookstore is 50 years in the making! It's so warm and inviting. The staff is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about books and recommendations. I can order anything I'd like to read if I can't find it in stock and they call a few days later for me to pick up. Their children's section has amazing selections. My 8-yr-old jumps for joy when I suggest going there.

I love this place. I've been going here for years, and I've almost always come out with a good book. The cashier was so understanding with my questions and was so easy to talk to.

In my opinion, one of the best curated little bookstores I've ever been to. I'm always surprised by what I find. I've also purchased books from them online, and picking up my order in store is a good excuse to browse.

Brought my daughter in for a special holiday nail - Loved how they were up front about pricing, listened carefully to what she asked, very respectful. The work was beautiful. Prices were great.

They have a wonderful selection of books, and they also carry other little trinkets and bobbles! I got one of the little adopt a magical creature big foot dudes a couple of years ago, and it is my little travel buddy :)

Book People is my absolute favorite bookstore. The ambiance is lovely, the book selection is fantastic, and the special events they put on truly enrich our little Moscow community. When I need to purchase a gift in a genre I am unfamiliar with, they always have amazing options and suggestions. If they don't have what you are looking for, you can order it from them easily and have it shipped the the store faster than if you ordered a book online. Their loyalty program is awesome as is their story time for children. They are also huge supporters to local theatre and music events offering a place for artists to sell tickets for shows. Thank you Book People!

I love coming to this store. Every time I go in I find something new and interesting. Plus they stock my favorite travel journals!

The book selection is great, they are awesome at recommending books and they are really a strong part of the community. I hope this shop never closes!

I have been to bookstores throughout the country and a bit of the world and this is absolutely the best bookstore I have ever been to. It is bright, welcoming and filled with hand selected books, gifts, cards, magazines and treats that either I have longed for and never found locally or else am discovering and falling in love with for the first time. The customer service is outstanding and the philanthropy they do in the community is noteworthy. I love being in the store when someone walks in and their jaw just drops with how stunning the store is.

A charming locally owned bookstore. If they don't have it, they can order it. More expensive than a chain bookstore, but the binding is better quality and they often have signed copies.

Great selection of books , a lot of indie writings, extremely knowledgeable staff. Nice atmosphere, definitely a place to pick up a nice gift for the book lover. They can also order and ship books all over the world.

Unique selection of books and knick knacks. I personally love their socks. Very fun! They also have mystery books you can purchase for a $3 donation. I really enjoy this unique touch. It’s always fun being surprised by the mystery book and it’s also very affordable and local.

The cutest bookstore in Moscow. They always have a great selection of books, cards, candles, and little gifts. The staff is extremely helpful as well.

Such a cute bookstore in the heart of downtown Moscow. They didn't have what I was looking for, but I still enjoyed looking around.

Order nearly anything you might otherwise be inclined to get on Amaz*n on their online site and pick up in store. Helpful and interesting staff, great layout, and the novel community-minded artful storefront displays alone is worth it. (Novel!)

Really great place in Moscow. If they don’t have what you’re looking for they are happy to order it for you. They always have rotating recommendations and some neat reading categories set up. They even have a local author section.
