GetGo Gas Station

I've just moved to town and it's literally within walking distance. I got hired and worked a month, when I had a family emergency and asked to leave one night during my shift the whole staff made a group message and began to "pick" at me and talk about being fired, being reliable and other little jabs which I found unprofessional for such a great company. Luckily I kept the group text chain and am looking forward to bringing it to management.
Besides that, the store is always clean and has what you need compared to the other gas stations.

Most of the time you have to fight through all the homeless people hitting you up for money and cigarettes before you even make it to the door. The employees are friendly and helpful though.

Can get what you need, but be aware of the other customers; the jail is very close by...

Took lottery tickets in store used the lottery machine on tickets. 2 were winners. took them to the front and she told me only one was a winner. That happened 2 times. They don't give me all my change back for things I buy. I have to call them out on it.

If I could give a 0 star review I would, I was thrown out of this star by the ASSISTANT MANAGERfor questioning why I needed to pay for my gas a 2nd time, once the attendant put my gas on the wrong pump. $50 is a lot of money and instead of explaining why, he started screaming at me to leave his store NOW! I reported this to the store manager and then proceeded to boycott ALL getgo locations, as I did not feel any sort of discipline would come to the manager in question. It seems people have lost sight of the fact that the consumer is always right, regardless of your personal emotions about the situation. Very disappointed and still choose ANY gas station before stopping at a getgo location because of this ONE INTERACTION.

Occasionally this station's gas prices are the most reasonable and that is the only reason I visit. Otherwise, I try to avoid this station because of the homeless and questionable characters that loiter on the sidewalk and parking lot. This location doesn't feel safe.
