Aircraft Spruce and Specialty

Bought online with store pickup. I was in a big rush, with no time to shop in the store. They move really fast, my order was ready, it took me 2 minutes to get in and out. Very efficient, nice employees, great place.

Jackie and Joe were superb... Specially Jackie.

Great place, great staff, lots of parts and retail for both aviators and aircraft. Also provide on site deliveries.

The staff are always friendly and parts usually in stock. Better yet, they have a shuttle service to/from Corona Muni if you just can’t drop what you are doing and need some parts. Definitely helpful if you have to put down at KAJO for an in-flight problem.

I had hoped that I would get a Costco sized shopping cart and spend a few thousand dollars wandering the isles of the coolest store on planet earth but alas it was not to be. I can but only assume that too many wives would call and complain. So they do actually have a small modest display or impulse showroom area but really it’s mostly a will-call counter set up. The counter guys were great and made sure I had ordered the correct part ( I had not) so hats off to them. Speaking of wives, the bathroom was trashed so maybe this should be a solo shopping trip. Have fun fly safe

While I never got a shipping quote when ordering, I'm shocked that you charged me $20 for shipping on a order that weights 2lbs and quart size and cost $6. I put blind trust you would be in the ballpark with other vendors ordering the same size container. While I appreciate the quick shipping, I have learned a valuable lesson. The Xtra 10 bucks won't hurt me. But this is disappointing.

Update: i really appreciate Mr Irwin getting back to me and addressing my concerns quickly. It shows that your customer service is important to you. I would definitely do business with you again.

Awesome company that stands behind their product and cares about their customers. Ive been using spruce for parts for my cessna and have had ZERO issues with ordering, communication, and returns. STRONGLY recommend supporting this company to help keep them in our community!

Bought an Avstar carb from AS&SC last Spring. Avstar carb, like it’s predecessor would not pump fuel into engine when starting. Always had to use manual prime. Returned carb to AS&SC for credit. Avstar would not credit aircraft spruce for the carb claiming it was not defective. After 6 months, it took AS&SC President, Jim Irwin, to personally get involved and rectify the problem. Take caution with Avstar. My experience is at some mounting angles, the accelerator pump will not work making starting not possible. Bought a Marvel-Schebler to replace the 2 AvStars. It performs perfectly!

This is Home Depot for airplanes. If you need it, they have it or can get it. The guys behind the will call desk are amazing--bring in a broken part, whine about needing a new one, and they will figure out the part number, put it in the system, hit a buzzer and 5 to 10 minutes later, a person pops out of the back room with your new part. Spruce has a very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff.

In and out within 10 minutes having already placed and verified ordered part in stock. Store area clean with aviation gifts. Overall, a very professional company.

Been shopping with them since '69, when they were in Fullerton, fantastic service if not in stock delivered in few days. Started buying spruce, plywood & adhesives. They packaged it to survive bicycle ride to La Puente! Aero books galore.
