Smart & Final Extra!

This place is like a mini Costco but with an excellent produce department. I can find items here that I can't find at any other chain grocery store. Their prices are excellent too! In addition to great produce, they also have restaurant supplies, a better than average assortment of dry goods and the best frozen shrimp for the price point! Check it out... You won't be disappointed!

First time in. We're here from Illinois working and stopped. Loved the store! Got a great deal on Pendelton Whiskey and then came back in with my hubby n got several other things. The gentleman working by the meat department showed us how to sign up for the app on our phone , WHILE HE WAS ON BREAK! I was a produce manager for 40 years, he went above n beyond n that is what customer service should be like! He was so up beat and happy! Grocery can be a very hard job without much THANKS to the folks that are there serving us every day, all weekend and every Holiday! Thank them@ Connie Smith

The store was clean, and so were the bathrooms. The produce was nice and looked fresh. I thought the prices were a bit high but not too bad. It's a nice store and a safe location.

Great selection. Produce was excellent. Got everything we needed in one stop. They even have of decent selection of beer and liquor if you need.
Talked with three different staff members and they were all very friendly and helpful.

The workers at this store are amazing. Marcus took my order over the phone and tracked down an item for me in less than a few hours. Nora checked the system for the item. What a team! Marcus is all about customer service and incredibly helpful regardless of what you are looking for. I highly recommend the Palm Springs Smart and Final. Need something you can't find. Best alternative to Costco or Sam's Club imo

Most of the staff who work here are excellent at customer service and seem to always be happy to see customers no matter what the circumstances (covid or otherwise). This is a great store and it's usually well stocked with what you need at prices that most of the time beat Ralph's or other chain stores. I even get some things here that I would normally want to buy at Costco, but the cost differential is not worth the long drive out to the 10 freeway where Costco is. I'm always thanked for my purchase and always feel appreciated.

Me and my family have been shopping here for years and know everyone atleast decently. But Marcus, Marcus is the most amazing employee. He pays great attention to detail, helps you out with anything and is always around when you need help! Marcus is the best!!!

The store is very nice.
I have been having trouble finding Big Train Spiced Chai where I live in Calimesa. So I called this store and spoke to Marcus. He reassured me he could help me get some. He has been able to get me 7 cans one trip and 5 cans this trip. Marcus has gone above and beyond to get me a supply of Chai. He is friendly and very helpful. He is definitely an asset to Smart and Final.

I now go here semi regularly, their selection of fresh fruit and veggies is exceptional! As is their selection of dairy products. Their selection of non-dairy items is also up to par. (Just wish they had more non dairy creamers at times.) I live an hour away and make sure to make this a stop when in the area. Now with increased bread baking on my end, I highly enjoy that they sell the 25-lb bags of King Arthur's unbleached All purpose flour. They also sell various kitchen items for bakeries in which I can easily store my 25 lb bag of flour.
Love the store, selection and staff and only have amazing things to say!

Marcus store associate of the year is amazing , he pays detail attention to customers and their needs and has a great attitude about it . Very thankful to him for pretty much reading my mind for what I needed without asking he came up asked are you looking for this item I said yes and he took me to it with great humor . I went there last night to get butter as a last minute item for a charity gala. Marcus went into the back to find what i needed! He was so helpful, friendly and had a great sense of humor!!
