If price isn't an issue and you're into quality food otherwise you're here for sales that they have which are good and because it's closer than Walmart. They've improved their selection of produce and organization a good amount in the last few years.

I can always find what I am looking for and sometimes there are specials that I just can't pass up

Great place to get energy drinks before the gym love the 3 for 6 deal with my discount and enjoy the employees there such as Eli.

This Safeway grocery store has recently made noticeable improvements and so I've changed my star rating to reflect that. (Most occurring over the spring and summer 2023), BUT still watch the expiration dates!!! Also keep an eye out for the meat and poultry that is piled above the "frost line" especially when the holidays are near...this is a no no in any store and can cause food born illness.. This is also a problem in any store, one that everyone should watch for.
The store is clean and shelves are well stocked still with the exception of water. They seem to have a hard time keeping it on the shelves. I have personally been looking for distilled water and it hasn't been in stock in this store since Covid. Now in August of 2023, this store does not seem to stock distilled water anymore period. There are a lot more machines besides CPAP's that require or suggest you use distilled water in them.
On the bright side, the pharmacy is still top notch!! Tim and Wendy are very helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. They go the extra mile for their customers. Both are excellent at giving immunizations but it is best to make an appointment as they are usually busy and sometimes are the only ones in the pharmacy.
Recently the store has re-arranged their space and it seems like it is more spacious. The Tenant Station store has an excellent veggie and fruit section. Probably 7 out of 10 trips into the store I will see people assigned to that department restocking! The addition of organic items just keeps expanding and they are very good! Lots of organic fruit and vegetables.
Since I last complained about the burned bakery goods.....that dept. has now learned to use the timers or have added personnel who know exactly how to do commercial baking. Kudos to them! The space that used to house various banks thru the years has been cleared out and more product inhabits this area. Carts seem to be a bit more abundant but customers will see the truth in that play out around holiday time. All in all the store has moved up in star ranking and they deserve it!

Always a great place to shop. I like to pick up special desserts from their bakery because you can get single portions and share with a friend.

This Safeway is nice and clean. It is orderly and well labeled so those who don't come here often, like me, can locate what they're looking for very quickly. They have a great selection of products in the store. The checker was very pleasant and efficient, too. There is plenty of parking and this shopping center has some great stores, as well. If I lived closer I would probably make this my main grocery store.

This Safeway is the only one I go to here in Morgan hill. The employees are the most kindest, organized, and patient people! They always go the extra mile. I was looking for a specific yogurt and was looking really hard because I always get it there but this time couldn’t find it! There was an employee who happened to be stocking in that same aisle and walked up and asked us what we were looking for. He told us they had a bunch of stuff to restock in the back so he was going to go check it out to see if the had it. Sure enough they did and I got my yogurt! I told him thank you so much for taking the time to check and bring it out.
Carlos is an employee that is usually at self checkout. He is very nice! He always goes the extra mile and always remembers us. I enjoy greeting the employees and shopping there. This store is very clean. It is always organized. 10 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always have an awesome time at Safeway, everyone is friendly and helpful. We never have to wait too long. Especially today went looking for my husband's favorite cake, and was sad that it was all gone. So the ladies at the bakery made me one in less than 10 minutes! I love how kind and sweet they were. We have been coming to this Safeway for over 10 years and had relatively good service. However today, we were given above and beyond great service. Not everyday does an employee go out of their way to make a customer feel special however today, Angelina did just that. I wish there was more I could do to notify management how kind and caring she treated us. She made us 3 breakfast burritos, (which were excellent) and the way she went out of her way to even make sure we had forks for our desert was beyond kind. Not many people have a smile on their faces while at work anymore but she was smiling and giving us the best customer service I've had here in 10 years. Please somebody give her the recognition she deserves. Thank you Angelina!

I live pretty close to this Safeway. It’s very convenient and “safe” especially that I most of times end up buying after 9pm. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it’s big enough so I can pretty much find almost everything I’m looking for. I absolutely have not had any negative experience with this place. I strongly recommend it.

BUT, Don't go to the Safeway on Tennant, the people are slow to help, the checker named Robert is extremely rude and condescending. Not enough variety at the Deli. I don't recommend that Safeway.

Purchased a beef roast which was superb @ 50% off with safeway card
Also boneless pork chops tender & sweet with no fat
Vegetables are superb
Cashiers are are friendly & very good customer service

Our local Safeway is amazing! They are always there to serve and support their shoppers even during this difficult time in the pandemic.

The Safeway company also take extra care to be organized, safe with spacing, ensuring mask compliance, keeping the sleeves stocked and still manage to smile and work hard.

In addition, they underwent a recent remodeling effort to keep pace with demand and now it's even more visually pleasing. Its certainly impressive on many levels. Cheers to your team and stores Safeway.. Don't forget to give pay raises to your staff and members..

I have always loved Safeway. This store has a good vibe, good selection but always busy on weekends, so parking is a drag. I do like I can use their self checkout and I can get out quickly. Staff is friendly and courteous and help you with finding items promptly.

Just went in to grab some coffee at Starbucks but just doing that was a delightful experience! This store is always clean and the employees are courteous and helpful. I try to visit this location any time I am in town.

They have great customer service an are very helpful around the store
