Stop & Shop

This review is for DEBI IN THE SEA FOOD dept. Debi is an absolutely amazing person and worker!! She always and I mean ALWAYS is ready to help customers with anything they need. She goes out of her way to make sure Stop and Shop customers are well taken care of. Debi always does it with a smile too!! I shop there quite often and I must say DEBI IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASON THAT I return to shop there. She makes me and all the other customers that she helps feel as if we are the only ones shopping and if I need help with how to cook an item she again takes her time and explains just how to cook them. Thank you so much Debi for all your hard work!!!!! I would sincerely appreciate your general manager to recognize you in a store meeting so all of your fellow employees understand what excellent customer service is all about....

Staff was courteous and helpful. EJ was especially wonderful. The manager was courteous, friendly and professional. The store was very clean and inviting. I'm REALLY glad that I went there.

They never seem to disappoint. They have everything in stock that I needed and plenty of service lines so that I didn't have to wait.

This is my workplace I wrote that on my other stop and shop the Meriden and Stop & Shop sucks the Wallingford Stop & Shop is the best store I've ever seen hands down the people are the most friendly helpful people there and the store is big and open and clean

I had such a great experience in the Floral department. Cassandra was very attentive and created a beautiful arrangement for a get well soon gift. We greatly appreciate your dedication, you clearly have a passion.

Stop & Shop is probably the best local grocery store around. It is always clean usually pretty well stocked with everything you need. The produce and the meat are good quality and they have a good selection of everything else. The service is outstanding if you get something that is not good they will always take it back the questions asked. The staff is also outstanding especially one of the young men, Emmett, that works there is a fine example of one of their outstanding employees. He is always helpful professional and friendly. He goes out of his way to help when I had a problem with my knee. This is a busy store but I go at night later when it is not as crowded. I would say the management is excellent in this store and the employees always seem to be content. This store is probably the best grocery store in wallingford. They usually have everything I need and I don't have to go anywhere else. Their prices May be slightly more than other places but the quality is definitely there and the customer service is excellent. You will probably quite satisfied my shopping at this Stop & shop.

I like this store but today I was very disappointed in the cashier. She didn't help me pack any groceries. She actually waited for me and my daughter to pack before she rang up the remainder of my order. She even squashed packages on the belt so she could continue ringing up items. If I wasn't in a hurry I would have filled a complaint.

I used Peapod from Stop and Shop and was very pleased with the exceptional experience. From the variety of groceries available to simplicity of using the app and picking a delivery time, I was pleasantly surprised especially when compared to Whole Food. My delight was surpassed when the kind driver brought all the bags directly to the kitchen! Wish I I gave him a larger tip... Will recompense next time.

The store was orderly, items were stocked with no expired dates and the lovely cashier Natalia was polite and helpful. I had a question regarding bag fees and whether I could pay them with my debit card and she said yes and was not judgemental about my lack of knowledge.

I went to stop and shop a couple days a ago to buy Turkey for a family picnic and a nice man in the deli section with the glasses and tattoo was really kind and helpful! You guys need more worker like him who knows how to treat and communicate with people, I would definitely recommend this store ! :)

Very clean and friendly staff. Best place for my local travel to the grocery store and quick convenience. Marty the robot is a little bit of a quirk but it’s fun watching him scan the floors for spills!

I usually shop at another S&S location, but did curbside pickup at Meriden because they had something I needed in stock. The young man who brought the groceries to my car was very friendly and cheerful. I forget his name but he was working at about 2:30pm Sunday Dec 19.

My wife and I had to return a tin foil pan, and the cashier said I couldn’t return it. But then another employee overheard our conversation and said they would help us return it. Thankful for people going above and beyond.

I used to come here for a few years but because of change of our health insurance, I had to switch pharmacy. The staff here is very knowledgeable, very helpful and considerate. Few times when my copay was high, they were able to help me find a way to cut it down. Something about community insurance. This is the only pharmacy that did it for us, so far. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have know that. I was sad and anxious about switching pharmacies. Keep up your excellent customer service and God bless you all.

Everyone is so sweet and nice. I have lost my wallet 4 times and they always safe it for me. Very kind people, and the super market always has what I need.

Love my stop and shop one stop store they mostly everything five stars for good customer service skills and being friendly a worker once laughed because I read a sign wrong and and said yes I have been getting that all day..little pricey but worth it.and I always get good coupons pertaining to my purchase that I buy...five stars. Produce 98% good. just once grapes were a litle sour but that's the season.

I love the East Main Street Stop & Shop! It's so easy to get in and out quickly 😊 Today I went in there for some Werther's Sugar free Caramel Coffee hard candies and root beer barrels... I found them in no time, and I bought a variety pack of hard candies - all for $5.31!! Thanks Stop & Shop for always having what I need and want. I was there a total of 11minutes from the time I drove into the parking lot and shopped and got back in my truck

I like fact that I can shop online because they always have deals and coupons on the app to save money and you can keep track of your spending and decide if you want to pick it up or have it delivered to you.

Kelly is the manager in the floral department. I have ordered bouquets from her for years for my daughter’s recitals. Her attention to detail and artistic skill is lovely. Her bouquets last for a full week! Always prepared, selecting quality fresh flowers. I recently had a beautiful bouquet done for a graduation and they were enjoyed immensely. Kelly’s customer service goes above and beyond to accommodate when needing special flowers in a rush. Tell her what you like and she will create it perfectly. I recommend Kelly for all your flower needs!!

This super Stop & Shop is convenient and well stocked . The staff are great and the carriages are disinfected regularly. Staci , the head of cashier check out is the most awesome person ! Huge help on self check out area !
