Nazar Halal Meat & Market

A great assortment of Turkish goods that can be hard to find elsewhere. This is my go-to place for many ingredients I use on a daily basis. They have a huge selection of olive and olive oils that are quite delicious.

A great little big store. The butchery department was very small at the moment and possible under renovations but the meat was very very fresh and bright in color. We were welcomed upon entry with smiles. The brother behind the meat counter was great and informative. The selection of turkish and middle east dry goods was beyond amazing. As we were visiting from Australia. We will definitly be coming back next time we are in town! Inshallah. Thanks Nazar

My favorite meat market in the area! The staff is always friendly and they have great quality halal meat.They also have a variety of Turkish things including fresh BAKLAVA! What I love about this place is it always looks so CLEAN and the meat is wrapped AND NOT CROSS CONTAMINATED. I highly recommend!

Very good venue to get the European and of course Turkish ingredients and foods you need. They also carry fresh meats that one might not find in a supermarket.
No fresh vegetables or fruit, though.

They have the best tasting turkish pistachios that you'll ever find. They're completely different from domestic varieties. In addition it's a very clean and well stocked market. I always find what I'm looking for.

I enjoy this store. Brings back my time in turkey. I can get all the familiar items here and the lady behind the counter is always very nice and helpful.

Best Halal meat you will find anywhere in CT, always fresh! everyone there is super nice and friendly. Shelves are always neatly stocked making it easy to find items. We are so glad we found Nazar Bazar.

Very clean, I found everything I was looking for in just 13 minutes. I'm so happy to have a Turkish grocery store nearby. I will always come here after now. 100% recommended

Since I can't go to turkey they bring Turkey to me. All the turkish food that's not available anywhere else. We shop from here all the time everything is great.

I have visited most of the halal markets around the area, by far, Nazar halal market is the best. Friendly staff, and great prices. I recommend this place!

We used to go to another halal meat market in Waterbury but thankfully we found this place in West Haven instead. This place is super clean and the prices are very reasonable. No complaints about this place at all.
