La Favorita 2 Grocery

Reasonably priced, friendly and helpful people. Loved it and the food! Satisfied all my So Cal Mexican market cravings. (Also visited competitor down the street and thought the competitor's prices were crazy high and didn't feel especially welcome there.) Anyway this is my new favorite Mexican market.

5/5 Stopped in today to check the place out and was very impressed. They had a wide variety of delicious food ready to go. The kitchen, meat counter and overall grocery store was very clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. Then I go to checkout with a my meal and they said $5. Granted, not everything will be this cheap but the prices are exceptional. This is will be my new go to.

Love the environment and the energy in the store. It is spacious and a variety of things from food, drinks and cookware.

If you’re looking for the best authentic Mexican food and grocery products, La Favorita is the place to go! Their prices for produce, meat, and ingredients are extremely reasonable, often lower compared to big chain grocery stores! Plus you can sense the small-business locally owned feel, as the staff and owners are super friendly and welcoming! Not to mention their to-go lunch specials are muy delicioso! Give this place a visit - you won’t regret it!

I really like this store. It just opened a number of weeks ago, and it is my new favorite place to get chicharrones. The chicharrones with the red rice combination makes for a delicious lunch. The food that I buy there is very reasonably priced. Two large chicharrones strips and an abundance of rice is about $6.50. Not to mention that the two gentleman that I’ve seen running the store or extraordinarily kind and fun to just stop in and talk to. I brought a container of red rice home and my wife ate it all, it is very good and similar to Pollo Loco red rice. I recommend stopping in and trying a few items from the warm food section, and maybe grab a few deli items to try and cook yourself at home. Most of the deli items they sell are thinly sliced so they cook easy and taste good too.

Amazing grocery store. Great food from the carnitas and tamales to the bakery section. Everything you could want there. Plus the people in there were so nice. I’m super white and awkward and the environment was incredibly welcoming. Cannot recommend enough to come here for groceries and food.
