Dairy Queen

Two words: slaw dog. This Dairy Queen is a Bluefield institution. I grew up eating hot dogs here as did everyone else in Bluefield since 1959. The bun is the same, the slaw is the same, the chili and the wiener - all the same. McDonald’s wishes they could be this consistent.

Last time I was here was about ten years ago, so we decided to stop by as we passed through on I-77 this week. Oh am I so glad we did. It was just as I remembered - the tastes, the smells and even the way they take your order.

If you live here, you already know. If you’re passing through, take the extra 5 minutes and stop in for some slaw dogs - they are the best you’ll ever have!

Fast service, they usually get your order right no problem. Good food all around, especially fries better than most burger joints I've been to. And seriously, if you don't like their soft serve, you must be soft in the head.

I love that man ice cream cake for my birthday but I know I never get it

I have been eating at this Dairy Queen since I was a little girl. Recently my boyfriend and I moved back to the Bluefield area. We have been taking his children there and we all just love it! The food is always fresh and delicious!!! Great family environment! The place has the same look since I was a kid. It brings back a certain nostalgia..... 💙💛

We always go here for a great hotdog and a dipped cone. My baby request his ice cream from here. Wished they had more dipped cone flavors.

Dairy queen CANNOT be beat now that there's more help making wait time less....

We drive from Huntington every year to eat at this Dairy Queen with mom on her birthday. The hotdogs and cheeseburgers are so good. I have been eating here since I was a kid and still love the ice cream cakes and the dilly bars. It's still one of the tastiest Dairy Queens around. You should check it out if you're in the area.

The fact that this restaurant is always busy is testament to the quality. The staff are always courteous and do their best to provide good service. It's a standard DQ with the normal menu but I've always been happy with my experience.

This was really special treat, if you ever travel through this spot i encourage you to stop. They toast the buns for a hotdog! On potato bread maybe, anyways the best hotdog hands down in a fast food chain ever. Desserts are great!!!

They have the best hot dogs in town and their BBQ is wonderful! they use Split Top English buns which are buttered on both sides and grilled, they only use homemade Chilli from Mrs. Simmon's recipe, and of course all of their ice cream treats are wonderful!

Excellent service and excellent food. Being coming here since was little and can remember alot of fond memories. Thank you for staying the same with quality and service. 🙂

My favorite Dairy Queen, hot dogs are the greatest!! The barbecue sandwiches are good too. Love the service and the food!!

I've only went through drive thru but the young ladies and young men that I've seen each time were very respectful and they are all doing a great job especially the young man that likes to joke he made me laugh soon as I pulled up to window but he's absolutely a person any place would be blessed to have him as an employee "a smile goes a long way & possibly change a person's life from being so down and then that young man saves the day lol" thank u "Bluefield" Dairy queen) for ur exceptional service

Best Dairy Queen hot dogs. Different buns, English style. Tried other DQ location but these are the best. Their Barbecue's are good too. Ate here 40 years ago(many times)and still stop here when possible. Tried DQ's from China to Texas and this is our favorite.

My friend and I got hot dogs, fries, and onion rings, coffee, and water. It was very good.

This is a great place to grab a bite to eat or the BEST ice cream you will ever eat. The staff are very friendly. Very clean place. The bathrooms are also clean. You don’t have to be scared of walking into something bad.
