i didn’t know about the change of hands of this little space, but this coffee is so good. it never tastes burnt, it coffee wise, is some of the best ever. their flavors are great (luv the monthly special); i’ve only been 2 times since but i am excited to see what they have for march! everyone is so so friendly too! check it out if you want reasonably priced right outside of town :)

This is my second day here. My date and I loved it so much yesterday I came back to try the flight today. We chatted for over an hour while drinking amazing coffee. Today I am back to try the flight and can't Rave about it enough

They are conveniently located near the D&L trail / Weissport canal for those passing through the area.
Lots of seating and parking, as well. 👍

I do not have pictures because my mind could only focus on flavor! First compliment goes to the young gentleman that took my order. The most polite, helpful, professional,and kind customer service I have had in at least 6 months. Your parents should be amazingly proud of you.
Next...get a chilled HUG. What?!?! So Delicious!!!! The little cake was moist and delicious. I can't wait to go back! Best coffee in the area.

Tired of the lines and lack of parking at Jim Thorpe? Just a short drive away is this cute coffee shop. Surrounded by plants and art when you walk in, the atmosphere is inviting. The coffee choices and flavors are extensive.
Need a break? Order a Panini with your coffee and then Borrow one of their games and stay awhile.
Excellent experience and plenty of parking.

Been here a couple of times, searching for a local coffee joint. Both times, the staff here are friendly and professional. I got an iced cupcake vanilla latte, which was quickly consumed after that picture was taken. It was so good!
I've also had a breakfast sandwich here, composing of bacon, egg, and cheese on sourdough bread. That was consumed before I could take a picture, it was that good. The apple fritters are also very good.
Plus, the atmosphere is calming. I'm gonna have to sit and relax next time I visit if I can. But I highly recommend if you're a local in need of caffeine!

I just visited for the first time. The coffee and fritter I had were absolutely perfect, the staff were friendly and efficient, and Im fairly certain this is going to be a weekly spot for me! So glad to have a local place that's a legit coffee shop.

I really enjoyed this coffee shop. Nice staff, the decaf latte was fantastic, and the panini was pretty good. The prices were excellent.

Great coffee shop to check out if you have the chance. Has a unique aesthetic and a very comfortable intriguing atmosphere. There's always plenty to look at between the hundreds of plants spread around the building and the new local artwork and photography displayed throughout the seating area. Had a ham and cheese which hit the spot. Usually get their iced matcha with lavender or honey (which is way better here than the Dunkin across the bridge). Their london fog is great too. The price is a little up there but at this point what isn't? It'll cost right around the same as Dunkin but it's a local shop with a better vibe and better quality. Totally worth stopping by, glad I did. 👌 Also keep an eye out for upcoming events. They do a lot here as it's a pretty roomy place inside and out.

A coffee shop in town is awesome. This is inside the old Mill and has a ton of space. Good coffee drinks, okay muffins, and just a nice space to hang out. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Quaint, friendly service and family-run!!! Stumbled upon it on our way out of Jim Thorpe. Wish we lived closer so that we could frequent more often. Got kids????... apparently the Gummy Shark drink is a favorite!

Hug In A Mug has a very cozy home vibe. It is super family friendly, and family run. My strawberry pina colada refresher was super yummy! I plan to come back and try all the things!

Our new favorite hangout spot, the atmosphere is chill, bright and inviting. All their coffees are fantastic. They have breakfast sandwiches and some snacks as well.

Got the “Kiss”, which tasted amazing! Great service and atmosphere. Open for about a month now and glad my family finally checked them out.

This coffee shop has by far the best latte in the area. Strong, and fantastic flavor. Lots of different milk alternatives and flavors are available, as well as several different breakfast or lunch items, such as egg and cheese bagels, muffins, sweet treats, oatmeal and granola bars (gf).
Very friendly service, too.

Great lattes! Everywhere I go, I seek out the best coffee shops. Hug In A Mug Café serves lattes that compete with the offerings from the best coffee cities. Also a convenient stop while cycling the D&L Trail.

Absolutely fantastic coffee, super deep flavor and punchy espresso, but in the best way possible. Iced macchiato was impressive! Highly recommend! Their pastries and bagels are also amazing.
