THE SILVER SPUR

A fun atmosphere with great service! We are wing fanatics from Central Pennsylvania and these were probably the best wings that we have had in Colorado so far. They have a nice selection of sauces. If you find yourself in Platteville, CO you should try The Silver Spur!

Phoned in a pizza order for pick up and the pizza was ready when I got there. The Supreme pizza was delicious! They use marinara sauce instead of regular pizza sauce and the crust was phenomenal. Highly recommend.

The calzones are worth every second it takes you to get here 🙌 great atmosphere & friendly service!

Platteville isn't really a very busy place and their aren't a whole lot of dining options, I had previously never really considered the Silver Spur as I thought it was just a bar, was I wrong. I have eaten their 4 times recently and the food choices are great, not what I was expecting and the servers are polite and handle the floor well. Considering the Spur has great things in a small package. Kraut Burgers,Calzones, Pizza, Salads and more..The kraut Burgers (chapped cabbage with ground beef and your choice of several fillings in a sweet dough pocket are unique and delicious but the pizza OMG they have the best Chicken Pesto pizza with mushroom d ricotta cheese I have ever had. If they can get something like that right, you know the rest is great too. I did have a French tip sandwich once and the meat was a little dry but those aren't on the dinner menu. The Pizza, a large. would easily feed 4 people for around 20$ and their well drinks are strong and well priced. We filled up 2 people, got a buzz and have lunch for tomorrow for 40$. The atmosphere and setting is just an old local small town bar with a few tables but it's worth the visit. Repeat visits for me

Food is pretty good for a small town bar. Only been this once, so would go again to try other things. Service good. Don't know why, but I was pleasantly surprised at the interior when you see the outside. It's comfortable and welcoming.

Alex is a fantastic bartender. My drinks are always perfect, her attitude is top notch. Super friendly atmosphere, food is great!!

Excellent service, Awesome food, homemade bread and bread for sale. A must try, can't wait to go back.

I had a fantastic experience at this place! The service was fast, attentive, and friendly. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. Everything I tried was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend trying the dishes here, you won't be disappointed! I definitely recommend this spot! The food at this place is amazing!

Cute little hometown bar with great food! The Krautburgers are fresh, the sandwiches are hearty, pizza is flavorful. The staff is friendly and the locals are warm and charming if you like small town people. Can't go wrong here!

Love this small town, local, bar! Food is fantastic! The best bull fries (rocky mountain oysters) ever! Taco Tuesday is fantastic! Yummy calzones, and the burgers on burger night are to die for! Great wait staff as well, the nicest bunch!

Order 16 calzones late on a Wednesday night. It was the first time I’ve tried this food. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. Definitely will be on my list of places to return to!

Come for a drink, leave with bread. I must say this, the only way this will taste any better if I could enjoy this in my bed and thats why I say come for a drank leave with bread. Great Place

Always a great place to stop on our way to/from Cheyenne. Amazing service/staff. Very friendly. The pickle shots are to die for.
