El Dorado Mexican Restaurant

It's a mexican restaurant in McKee KY, it's a great place to eat and get takeout. The staff are always friendly and accommodating to the best of their ability. They learn regulars names and make it a point to ask how their days are. The food is always good and the portions are quite large. I've never had a bad experience here and the prices are fair for the amount of food given.

There are very few options for eating out in the McKee/Sand Gap area. This is surely the best. Yes, it's American "Mexican" food. But the staff is all Hispanic, so they know how to make it right. Lots of choices on the menu... My Home-Made Guacamole and Quesadilla Chica were really good.

Amazing little gem hidden in downtown McKee. Great place to grab some hot, fresh food and a cold beer. Prices were reasonable and our food almost beat our drinks to the table! Nothing overly unique about the meals, very run of the mill "American" Mexican food.

Calm welcoming environment to have lunch. The staff are super curtieous and quick. I had the Polo Veracruz, and it was delicious.

The people are very friendly and you are seated right away. The service is fantastic. I've been 4 times now and ordered something new each time, and I have yet to be disappointed.

I've had the Carne asada tacos, fajitas (beef, chicken and shrimp), molcajete rib-eye, (delicious, the chorizo is amazing) and the chimichunga.

It's a great place for lunch, date night, or outing with the family. The menu has lots to choose from, even for the pickiest of eaters.

It's a new venue for the town, and I hope everyone will give it a try. I will take food photos next time I go.

I pick up doordash orders from here all the time and the staff is always nice and the place always looks clean. Finally got to try it myself for the first time to tonight and it was pretty good. You definitely get your moneys worth of food, amount wise. The fries were ok, the quesadilla was soaked in cheese which isn't something i'm used to but it was actually pretty good like that.

This was our first time visiting El Dorado in McKee, It couldn’t have gone better! THE FOOD! The drinks were delicious too! We’ll be back without a doubt….

Absolutely amazing place. Kind of a strange location to find really good Mexican but it is as I said, really good Mexican food. The hot plate is absolutely amazing, some of the best pork that I have ever had from any Mexican place. Pretty easily tops even the better places in new Mexico. 10/10 would recommend.

WOW! From start to finish this was a superb stop! Friendly staff, neat seating, and outside seating available. Generous delicious chips and salsa our kids couldn’t get enough of. I had the steak fajita and I’ve never had better. My husband had chili poblano and a burrito and loved it. The kids didn’t love their tacos only because they had tomatoes in it… but we ate those too. This is now my favorite Mexican restaurant. We are definitely coming back before heading back home to Michigan!

Ordered online for takeout. The ordering process was easy to do and worked well. Our food was ready and waiting when I got there and everything was as ordered. The quality and taste was top notch. Some of the best Mexican we’ve had. Will definitely be returning. Everything highly recommended. Keep up the good work.

My first time eating at El Dorado and hands down the best I've ever had!! Highly recommend eating here first chance you get very nice quick on my food and the price was great thank you that was the best!!!

I'm leaving the 5-stars for now, but I've started having problems with my food not being correct. Twice the rice has not been included with my order. Also twice I've ordered the potatoes with cheese and bacon, but received potato skins instead. The 2nd time I even specified in the special instructions what I was expecting (Fries with cheese and bacon), which was what i had received previously when ordering this item. Hopefully this improves in the future, else I may need to adjust my rating.

I've ordered from El Dorado three times now. The fact that they are available via Door Dash is amazing. I never expected to have that as an option in Jackson County.

As for the food, it's been excellent every time. The burritos and quesadillas have both been very good. The "Potatoes with cheese and bacon" was also very good. I'll definitely continue to order from her, especially if I can continue having it delivered.
