Great view, great service, great food! This is a great place to get lunch or have a fancy dinner. I highly suggest getting the clam chowder. The fish and chips was also good.

I had the wonderful opportunity of providing flowers for a wedding in early May. We stayed in at the Hotel Breakers in Gualala. That night, after a very long day, we had dinner at the Vue.
Five stars are not enough.
Everything we ordered was amazing.
I am looking forward to the wedding that I get to provide flowers for in the area.

We'll definitely be back.

I thoroughly enjoyed the clam chowder and the Caesar salad. All the staff members I interacted with were very polite, kind and helpful.

Food was delicious and the menu had a nice variety that would make me want to come back and try more. BUT the service was what made the night. Rusty, our waiter, Kelly, the bartender, and the host (did not get his name) were so lovely and the atmosphere was inviting. The locals were also nice; even if they didn't interact directly with us, the interactions between the locals and Vue employees spoke for itself. Good people, good food, can't go wrong and would highly recommend.

My husband and I went here for our 20th Anniversary. We stayed at the Hotel Breakers for a couple of nights and it was so nice to be able to walk right to the restaurant. The atmosphere is very inviting and cozy. There is outdoor seating that we are going to try next time we're there in the summer. Our server was above par! He was prompt and provided good feedback on their menu options. He was excellent! My husband had the fish and chips and he said they were the best he's ever had. I had the Pasta Pescatore and it was absolutely delicious! The cocktails were very good as well. I had a margarita and a dirty martini. Hubs had a cherry limeade vodka and a mudslide. Thank you, Vue Kitchen, for helping us to have a really nice and special anniversary dinner!

This place was amazing. The food was INCREDIBLE, the service was awesome. The only negative was that they didn't have a cocktail menu, so if you only drink on special occasions, it might be a little tricky to pick a drink, but our waiter (shout out to Rusty!) was very sweet and patient and we were able to get what felt like fancy drinks ordered. 10/10.

Modern take on an American kitchen, perfect location (and name) with views over the ocean. The choice for a stylish dinner by the seaside.

My favorite restaurant while in town. Everything I have tried so far has been delicious.
Love the view and to watch the sunset from the restaurant. Also a great bar area even if you just want to have drinks and appetizers and watch a game.
Looking forward to also trying their Persian Kabab soon as I have heard it’s delicious.

We stopped in on a week night for a light meal. It was perfect - grilled Caesar, minestrone and flatbread. Service was friendly and professional. We’ll be back to try more dishes from their extensive menu!

Overall solid experience—much better for fish/meat eaters of the group than vegetarians. I had a good martini and meatballs, but not thrilled. Everyone else (non-vegetarian) was blown away by their meals. Gorgeous views from almost every seat of the restaurant and nice outdoor seating too. Lovely service. Overall very well rounded menu. Just can’t speak too too positively for the vegetarian experience.

Terrific Persian burger & seasoned fries - hot & fresh. Views are spectacular, beautiful art. Service is the best. We had car trouble and the staff was kind and welcoming, and went above and beyond to help us in any way possible! Thank you, Andi and John, for saving our afternoon! We’ll be back for sure.

Food was good, view was great! We were seated right away & the staff was super friendly. We got the cheese board and I really wish there had been more bread, and the "seasonal fruit" was an apple which.... Was good, just unexpected.

We didn't eat at the Vue, but we ordered the charcuterie platter and roasted beet salad to take out. Both were excellent, and we're grateful to the chefs for putting together such a tasty and interesting mixture of flavors and textures.

Absolutely fantastic. First time here. Jared the bartender was a absolute delight. He introduced us to some different cocktails. We decided to stay an extra night at the quaint Surf Motel next door and came back the next evening to enjoy a most memorable birthday dinner. It was a San Francisco quality restaurant without the crowds. What more could you possibly ask for?

Stopped at this place while driving on the West Coast pacfic coastal highway, aka US1.
The plac3 is located on the highwayband the highway provides great food as well as a sunset view.

Stayed at the Hotel Breakers over Labor Day Holiday weekend and had dinner and brunch at the Vue Kitchen. Can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. The food was fresh, local where available, and so delicious. You can tell it was of high quality. The view was icing on the cake. Speaking of cake, their freshly made desserts are a must. And we stayed at the Hotel Breakers next door where our room was huge and so clean and comfortable with new furniture / rugs. Overall an amazing experience and totally recommend to everyone.
