C's Custard Delight

Thank you Toni Jean for making my first banana split experience so wonderful! Can’t wait to come back!

When I was a child, I went to "Custard Lite", the former business frequently, as it was around the corner from my house. Even when I was a child the building did not have proper maintenance done to the exterior and the interior was aged. I remember it being one of the last cash only businesses around.

The new owners completely renovated the existing structure. I can tell by the thoughtfulness of the layout and colors that the new owners aimed to impress, and the high standards extend even to the inside. New machines, brighter lighting, and well placed outdoor lighting for patrons made the experience a great deal better than the old business. Looks incredibly clean and sanitary.
Big pluses: they take cards with the ability to tip as well, and they have at least one vegan option in the form of a Dole Whip. Very friendly, accommodating staff.

I'm very much looking forward to coming back, it replaced Route 20 on my radar as my new local ice cream stand.

EDIT: We still come back, and now they have a Dog Ice Cream

My wife took our daughter and a friend here on Friday 7/22/22 and was blown away by the choices!! She got the cotton candy soft serve and the kids got to pick several different flavors/colors for their soft serve ice cream. This is our new go to ice cream shop. What REALLY stood out though was the staff, it was around closing time and they were beyond patient, accommodating and knowledgeable on all of the different choices, these girls were very professional. We will be returning regularly. Thank you for giving them such a wonderful experience!!

My dad used to take me here (or rather custard lite) when I was a child, I hadn't been back since before last Friday evening with my daughter. This is easily my new favorite ice cream, the choices in soft serve are amazing!! What most impressed me however, was the employees. They really go above and beyond, this alone makes this business one that I'm proud to support. I sincerely hope the staffs great attitude is a reflection of how well they are treated by their employer and community. Thank you!!

Delicious fun ice cream "spaghetti and meatballs". My wife and I stopped for dessert for lunch. Really enjoyed their take on the spaghetti and meatballs! We're already looking forward to going back.

Very happy this place is now open all year long. The desserts have been delicious! We habe ordered thanksgiving desserts, buckeyes, dugar cookies and ice cream, plus more.

One of my favorites is the jars of caramel. We did prefer the vanilla caramel the first time we picked it up for Thanksgiving compared to the second time I went in for extra jars a week or so ago. Not sure what changed but we still like it and I would get it again but I'd love it more if it tasted like the first batch haha.

I've never had a buckeye before but we are addicted. They are delicious and a good size for a small dessert!

My pup also loves getting a pup dish from here!

This place is finally great. New ownership, new experience. They cleaned, painted, and from the looks of it got new machines. While I was there I heard them walking through cleaning schedules, and you can tell they take it seriously. So glad someone finally turned this place around. Prices didn't shoot up either, seemed on par with other spots around the area

100% would recommend! The employees are outgoing, patient and very kind. A very respectable establishment with top notch ice cream to match.

The soft serve vanilla and chocolate ice cream flavors are DELICIOUS!! Best custard in Erie County!! The ice cream portions and service are excellent! There's a lot of seating area to enjoy these special treats and I highly recommend C's Custard Delight!

I come from the Midwest where Fritz’s and Ted Drew’s are the best frozen Custard in the St Louis Area. C’s Custard is thicker are creamier than anything I remember! Well done C’s!
