The Toasted Hog

I made the mistake of driving past this place multiple times before I even realized it was there.

I ordered a chicken burrito and was not disappointed at all. I plan on ordering from this place again soon.

It is also worth noting that they have a nice selection of beers in their cooler.

Drove by and the name caught our attention. Nothing like we expected when pulling in. Service fantastic, helpful. Food delicious. Prepared in minutes as ordered. If we pass through the area again would stop again in a minute. Locals, this is a gem. Traveling like we are take the chance. Make sure you get plenty of napkins.

We were on our way home from a school sporting event and were going to stop for fast food. We were passing by The Toasted Hog and decided to try it out. Excellent! It's a hidden gem. Very glad we stopped.

I order my burrito here the same way every time. It never disappoints. My little ones love the taco in a bag. Full supporters of The Toasted Hog! Just passing through the area and found this local fast casual Tex-Mex restaurant with a concise selection of menu options.
I chose the pork belly bowel - the pork was less seasoned than I expected, still quite tasty and the toppings mostly made up for it.
My wife chose the spicy steak burrito - the steak was awesome alone but also complimented well by the toppings.
We both chose brown rice and it seems we were given white, will have to verify if we're in the area again.

This would be a GREAT date night. Totally easy atmosphere. Plenty of different brews, and the food was TRULY AMAZING!

On a spontaneous road trip detour, we stumbled upon this tasty spot! Very clean with an inviting outdoor seating area featuring a giant Connect Four game – an unexpected delight for the kids! The food was superb - chipotle style options. If only we didn’t live halfway across the country, we’d definitely be regulars!

I was stuck at a local motel without a car. Two choices within walking distance. I chose The Toasted Hog. Quite a different place from those usually connected to a gas station. Choice of ingredients over a rice bowl, in a burrito or as nachos. I chose a rice bowl with spiced rubbed pork belly, named the after the restaurant - Toasted Hog, plus I added pickled cabbage for a different kick. I added chips and quack. Good portions.

Very clean restaurant, friendly staff, reasonably priced. The pork belly is amazing.

The food was so delicious, especially the pork belly! The rice bowls were big enough to truly satisfy the tummy and wallet. The outside seating was a perfect blend of covered & open with parking close and wheelchair accessible.

Everything is delicious I have tried it all. Great portions.

Delicious create-your-own burritos, tacos, rice bowls, salads, and nachos. Also a wide variety of beverage options (fountain soda, bottled soda, beer, hard cider, etc.).

Really nice, easy place for dinner, lunch, ice cream. Like chipotle, but better (better options for customization, smaller, local, more personal). The folks behind the counter were really nice. Patio seating available. Most patrons were wearing masks inside while we were there.
(Also, for anyone else who is curious, “Hog” is a play on a common local surname, “Hogg”.)

I have driven by the Toasted Hog numerous times and had no clue it was a Tex Mex eatery until my daughter suggested we go. I had a chicken bowl which was delicious.
Definitely something different and good for our area. Give them a try!

Very good food ,but the burrito was watery from the tomatos 🍅 I'm guessing, other than that dinner was delicious

The most adorable stop for Mexican food. We love the trivia nights and other fun theme nights they have. The last time we were there they even had a band. Such a fun place to go! I would highly recommend. 👏❤

Excellent food, atmosphere and drink options. We will surely be back. Great place for burritos, taco and bowls. Huge portions. Love the fact that they are local. I will make the drive from Blasdell instead of going to one of the nearby corporate chains.

Been going here since they opened and the food is always a fresh and delicious. My latest favorite is a burrito with seasoned quinoa, brown rice, spring mix, Pico de Gallo, cilantro, jalapeños, caramelized onions and hot sauce in a sun-dried tomato shell.
